APC played smart, they wanted to know who is with them and who is against them hence they scheduled a meeting with those with them and allowed those against them to attend the inauguration.

They tried to know by conducting mock election using open ballot vote but Bukola's group knew the party's intention hence they boybott the mock election.

Now, let's wait and see APC next move.

Those talking about 2/3 to form a quorum shouldn't even bring that here. 54 votes went to Ike and 20 went to Ali. Add that together,you have 74. 2/3 of 109 senators is 73. As it stands,nothing illegal has been done. It's case closed. Let's move on to the next one like Jay-Z. wink

To my understanding 2/3 of the total member is not needed before a quorum can be form.

To pass an act or bill into law, a quorum must be form and it required 2/3 of that forum or clear cut majority before bill can be pass.

So the question is was a quorum formed? Which i think is yes ( am subject to correction )

What form a quorum is 1/3 of total number. But to impeach a SP or DSP 2/3 of the total number is required.
