From what I learnt from our contitutional law classes in 200L, the president need not be pysically present for such proclamation to take effect. Sending a letter in this regard will suffice.
In any case, what we just witnessed was just an inauguration.

If Presido truly sent in a letter, then he has issued a proclamation be dat ooo. Afterall d constitution did not state d medium for making d proclamation...either by physical presence, or letter or on cd or by proxy, etc......d options are limitless. So Saraki is duly elected! But we keep watching.....things are moving and changing very fast in the political space nowadays. Drama galore!

Bukola Saraki is not from SW, he from Kwara which falls under North Central according to Nigeria geo-political zoning.

Saraki is Yoruba, but he's from the North-Central, not South-West. Kwara is a North-Central state.

Why are some people so confused or ignorant about d geo political zones. Kwara state is in NC and Saraki claims to be Fulani even though his ancestry is yoruba! The man says he is a northerner and his state is zoned to d north. Simple, clear and straight forward.

It appears you are not familiar with the workings of the presidency. The president does not need to be physically present in the chamber to issue a proclamation. And letters from the president cannot be successfully denied by the president because it carries the SEAL of the president. If he denies it, that means someone else has the SEAL of the president, and that is treason.

Saraki as the Senate President is not from SW, he is from Kwara state which is North Central.. Point of correction

No one is calling anybody a fool. Just think yourself. He can conveniently deny the letter, that's even on the assumption that the letter they said he wrote is not scam. He is not dead, anything can be forged. there is fake maze...bla bla....just think. Victory is not guaranteed for Saraki. If this stuff is not resolved amicable, it might end up like Ekiti

Well, impeach saraki? By who? APC? And who becomes the SP once saraki I impeached? Ekweremadu? Or will dey also impeach him Asap? I guess the PDP will not allow that, if all PDP will stand against APC impeaching ekweremadu den it is invariably giving PDP d upper hand in d house as a member being d SP, u and I know that APC will never allow that to happen, instead dey will allow saraki.

Btw u need 2/3 of the house to impeach d SP, the whole house Is 109 and PDP can boast of 54, 2/3 of 109 is 72 and 109 minus 54 is not upto 72, therefore, it will be impoicant to carry out their plans without the 100% support of PDP.

Secondly, don't forget that saraki alo have loyalist in the house as well, so,being impeached will not work.

All APC should do, Is to bring their house to order, if they should refuse to make peace now,then APC is as gone and scattered as the old PDP.

there is nothing buhari can do about this saraki issue now, it is too early for him to be seen meddling in senate matters and creating problems .and secondly I don't even trust anybody in politics , I won't be surprised if buhari actually has a hand in the emergence of saraki as senate president as a way of cutting and limiting tinubu influence and power on him and within apc .
