baybeeboi:. A party that has majority in both houses and cannot conduct a simple intra-party election OR accept the result of such, are these the change agents people have been singing about? Looking for power is one thing, making use of power sensibly is another. APC is now telling us that they are mostly a party of indisciplined riff-raff, traitors and power-hungry egoists. Maybe the few cultured ones among APC supporters (because most swear at people with different opinions/views like a trooper) will now now realise just how big the act of statesmanship GEJ demonstrated in conceding defeat as a president & C-in-C. |

I somehow think that buhari would be remote controlled in his governance.....I just have that tiny feeling.. |

lol becos the people they wanted there didnt enter thats y the have rejected it. Foolish APC and there propaganda. When they rule us for the next 4years and cant achieve anything, and the people come out to vote dem out they will also reject the result and the war SIR GEJ is trying to prevent by conceding defeat will now erupt. Stupid Apshit ![]() |

I thought these so called leaders of APC were clever and knowledgeable but I can see that they lack this. How can APC expect the mock poll to be the true poll? How come the forgot they have an enemy in PDP? When the Senate inauguration should be going on why did they decide to be meeting outside the NASS? We say no to imposition! Where they expecting PDP not to vote? What they got is as a result of their folly. Any attempt to disturb Saraki's tenure as senate president will not only ruin their chances of effective governance to bring about the needed change but will make their first shot at governance at the top a dismal one. The best for them is to align with Saraki and Dogara and ensure the goods are delivered to the people and not a few so called leaders. Lai Mohammed should keep quite and accept their folly as a result of high level greed. The era of 'its our turn' is over and they were beneficiary of that. So forgetting that so soon beats my imagination. |

Rumpelstiltskin:You better wake up from that dream because it is 12 noon, why didn't the remaining senators vote?,were they prevented from doing so?,the law states that members of the National Assembly shall elect their leadership not that the party should "impose" the leadership of the National Assembly. Those members that elect saraki were they outsiders?,sorry dear you have lost it deal with it. |

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that though he would have preferred that the process of electing the leaders as initiated and concluded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) had been followed, he was ready to work with the leadership of the National Assembly that emerged on Tuesday. In his reaction to the election of Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara as the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively, President Buhari said that “a constitutional process has somewhat occurred”. Buhari’s position which was conveyed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina reiterated that his earlier statement that he had no preferred candidates in the election of the President of Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives still stands. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/buhari-expresses-reservation-on-emergence-of-speaker-senate-president/#sthash.xm0L1jg0.dpuf |

elohorayodele:. Will this kind of party concede defeat like GEJ did? Lai lai. Maybe because they couldn't form a parallel govt to worry GEJ, since PDP lost and gracefully conceded, they want the parallel of everything else. ![]() When a group of people are too much into intrigues for selfish reasons, this is what you get. In an attempt to dribble us the public like Maradona, they are dribbling themselves. What do you expect from Bukola Saraki that himself & family collapsed SoGen bank making people like JJ Okocha lose millions of Dollars? Not to mention his EFCC case. A trustworthy person? I laff in Tibetan. ![]() |

Rumpelstiltskin:with all due respect sir I think ur analysis is myopic in nature did u ever wonder y PMB ws nt in d meeting they supposing claim he (PMB) called for dat aside 57 out of 109 is still a majority so by every indication going by d out come nd d total I think he won d election so let see hw it plays out with Tinubu. I just pray APC is able to manage it leadership if nt they might nt even rule for one complete tenure |

“The party is supreme and its interest is superior to that of its individual members,” the party said. Can somebody please tell that fool called Lai Mohammed that the constitution is Supreme and the interest of the nation thumps the interest of his dumb party.. Change indeed |
| Re: APC Rejects Saraki, Dogara As Senate President, Speaker by heywhytech1(m): 7:00pm On Jun 09, 2015 |
Those party leaders should be very careful. Our Senate president is Bukola SARAKI they should take defeat and reunite the other Senators in other camp to corporate and work with him, saraki remain in APC nothing change that and am sure he will do the president bidding, I don't see reason why non Senators are claiming to be be in charge. Senate president is purely house affairs and I don't think party leade have any role to play in that. 57 is quiet greater than 52 so why are they make issue out of nonsense after all President has said it before that he has no interest in who becomes Senate president. Congratulations SARAKI though am not your fans but I support your fight and greatly Salute your courage. Let Tinubu accept defeat, you cant win all. |

Just because Saraki and Dogara won does not mean PDP have the majority in the house, on any given day when bills are passed the full APC force would be out to frustrate these two guys who sold out |

poshbrave:It is your view that is myopic. There is a quorum that needed to be reached for the house to form a quorum. I don't think 59 will make the quorum. All I know is that Saraki has just written his political death. Generals don't fight with a trace. Remember how OBJ dealt with Atiku. |
