Yesterday, a civilian coup took place in the National assembly And the loser wasn't Bola Tinubu as many have gleefully gloated, rather it is PMB Although Tinubu's greed and insistence on producing the NASS legislative spine backfired spectacularly ![]() Yesterday, the starting shots of the 2019 general elections were fired not by INEC but the nPDP And everyone who desires TRUE CHANGE in Nigeria must be vigilant for Nigeria's devourers are about to strike again Many foolishly derided Bola Tinubu as the loser yesterday but if you truly love PMB, you should be weeping for his political naivety Probably because he wanted to shed off the dictator image, he openly stated and kept his word of having no anointed candidates for the NASS leadership However Nigeria lacks strong institutions and structures for that kind of politics ![]() In the UK, David Cameron has a grip by which he periodically feels the pulse of the House of Commons same goes for Barack Obama in his first term Those who follow American politics saw how Congress and the Senate rubbished and threatened Obama in his 2nd term because of their legislative control While the the NASS is controlled by APC in name, did anyone know who Saraki first visited upon emergence? Not PMB but Atiku Abubakar, another nPDP arrowhead who sponsored both Dogara and Saraki ![]() The 1st senator who also nominated Saraki is an nPDP member i.e. Dino Melaye While PMB has viable no political structure to rival that of the nPDP or even Bola Tinubu, he should have understood that he needs legislative spine [key men in the legislature] to set his political agenda Someone like El Rufai would have suited him well in the Senate but he choose to be Kaduna state governor ![]() Inadvertently PMB has opened a crack for the PDP to gain a firm foothold and remain politically relevant because the nPDP will naturally graviate towards their former comrades in the PDP Till today PMB has no political command structure i.e. ministers , chief of staff, advisers etc while his package of change is still largely amorphous I recall pastor Tunde bakare say while he trusts PMB, he is weary of those [Amaechi, OBJ, Jagaban, Atiku etc] who surround him Except PMB gets his acts together, he WILL BE A ONE TERM PRESIDENT PMB deliver your soul from this political hawks, or is it already too late? ![]() |

For those supporters of PMB who feel offended by my use of the word 'learner', do know I mean no harm nor insults For the children of hatred who fail to see the emergence of PMB was the desire by generality of Nigerians to break free from the shackles of bad leadership and ineptitude, please find another thread to spew your half baked truths ![]() |

On point! How is Buhari going to get anything done through these houses? It's almost as if pdp still controls both houses now. Apc members are going to be a rubber stamp. Tinubu from now on should just sit back and watch things from a good distance if he really did this for Nigeria. |

Tinubu is the only one of them that has been consistent in his call for regionalism and true federalism. The loser will be Nigerians and all those who want true federalism. It looks like the One Nigerians won today, but make we dey look. |

Copacetic:One Nigeria? With Saraki or Atiku? ![]() 2 power hungry vultures ![]() Seeing Saraki believed he had the critical mass, how come he choose to stab his fellow party men in the back ![]() Is it because PDP promised him his believed 'birthright' for a bowl of porridge? Is that why he choose to polarise the platform on which he emerged even before the 8th Assembly was constituted? And he intends to hold this façade together for the next four years? Also, how did David Mark emerge MAJORITY LEADER in an APC dominated senate? ![]() I do not think you believe in Santa Claus cos if you looked closely, you would have seen Wike, Mimiko and the new Akwa Ibom governor backslapping with the new senators Question: What were serving PDP governors doing in the NASS? I say it again, the race for 2019 has UNOFFICIALLY started today Idrismusty97:I beg to differ How did Buhari win? Do you think Saraki's emergence gets Tinubu's monkey off his back? ![]() |
