A senator from Benue state raised a motion about what happened yesterday. He said President Buhari summoned them(APC senators) to a meeting and told the clerk of the National assembly to give a reasonable excuse to hold proceedings(the election) *the senators present yesterday started laughing * obviously the clerk didn't follow the president's order(if there were any) so the senator thinks the clerk disrespected the President and the absent senators rights were breached, so it would be reasonable if the senate president react to the issue and that it will bring unity in the house and the government as a whole. he reminded the house that the 7th house was built with unity.

Senate president Saraki responded by pointing a section of the constitution to the house which says something like "Motion about The process of the election that elected the senate president should not be raised or addressed after the election" Senate President Saraki thereby overruled the motion.

The senators absent yesterday murmured and they stood and left the NA.
