Arsene Wenger's released Abou Diaby. Just so we can sign him. Just so he can really feel like a new signing when he's fit.
Genius move.

Releasing a player doesn't mean you cannot resign him. It means his contract has expired, so he is free to talk to other clubs or if both parties agree he can sign a new contract. Diaby is getting a new contract- a earn as you play contract. That has been settled.

Meanwhile, Diaby is fit again, lets just hope and pray for him that he will not experience another set back. Who is Vidal or Kondogbia when there is a fit Diaby? Number one box to box guy.

Why are you an Arsenal fan? Or you miss road? If supporting Arsenal is a fantasy for me, yours must be a nightmare. #GetOut

Surely you have not seen Diaby play, or you just have a self destructive tendency. Go and meet your elders and ask them.

I agree that Diaby was/is good. The truth now is if we really need a strong push for the league next season we really don't need players who have a softspot for the treatment table. Injury cost us point in this just concluded season.

We can't afford to tow that line again next season.

I never said Wenger shouldn't buy, in fact he should. I was only making a point of note that 'a fit and healthy' Diaby- offcourse that's not bankable, but a fit and healthy Diaby as far as I am concerned is better than them all.

Our problem is that we do not value what we have, go and ask other fans what they think of the likes of Walcott or even Chambo. I don't watch football like a normal watcher, I am technically astute and that's how I watch. I tell you the fact, our players are highly techically gifted. Some may not have the physicality but they are very technical.

I hope you saw that the Germans beat us because they were more technical (movement and positioning) with their very good ball work.

Arsenal have submitted a formal bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The report states that the London club have offered 15 million euros upfront with an excess of 3 million to be paid in bonuses. Rugani is a Juventus player on loan at Empoli. The Italian centre back has a strong positional sense and his imposing presence makes him an ideal candidate for a Premier League team. Arsene Wenger is keen to find a replacement for Per Mertesacker as well as add to his defensive unit. The Frenchman has identified Rugani as a possible candidate and is willing to break the bank for the young centre half. 18 million euros seems like a steep amount of money for an unproven Serie A defender, but Wenger’s eye for a talent is beyond question. Rugani has had a good spell of development away from Juventus and was expected to return to his parent club and get into the first team fold next season. However, with the money offered it seems likely that the Turin giants will let go of the Italian. A defender, central midfielder and a striker are key to Arsenal mounting a proper title challenge next season and it seems Arsene Wenger has found the first part of his jigsaw in Rugani.

don't be a pant, spending doesn't guarantee success, united spent heavily on di maria and falcao (loan), and they didn't win as much as a trash can.
