Plz I'm new on nairaland and I need to Kip my mind at rest.
dis might sound weird to some, but I need medical experts and matured minds to comment on dis.Thank u

I had sex on my ovulation day (unprotected ),my first time I must add ,one thing led to anoda and it happened .
although I dnt regret it ,but I have just one fear. PREGNANCY(we are both not ready for a child )
about 45mins after d intercourse, I took a certain medicine: it's called postinor2 ,I was meant to believe it's an emergency contraceptives ,.not meant to be taken often (I dnt intend taken it again ,cos I dnt intend putting myself in dis kind of situation again..)

d problem is:I'm expecting my flow in 2wks following my regular calculation ,but as d day draws close my fear increases considering d day I had sex.
I believe I can get reliable response on nairaland.. so I have jst one question --
is there any possibility of pregnancy in my case?

My dear postinor 2 fails. I had sex with my gf on her ovulation day and immediately, I gave her postinor 2 as she was supposed to see her menses the following month, she didn't she became pregnant. That drug is nt 100% guaranteed.

its not likely u r preg, but ur menses maybe altered, so, if by the time u expect ur menses and it dsnt show up, quickly do a urine dipstick preg test to be sure u ain't preg. Usually, u will benefit little from Postinor2 if u hv alredi ovulated b4 taking it since it works mainly by defering ovulation n to a lil extent preventing implantation. By n large, it alters ur body hormonal control n can make u bleed b4, or after ur due tym for menstruatn, it may evn make u bleed 2x in a month... it can cause jus abt anyfin cos ur body system wud be confused for a yle...
