Those were not the shockers, Bellerin and Coquelin were. What excuse can you give for spending £55mil for Di Maria who flopped and £34mil for a loaned Falcao who scored only 4 goals? More players are bought and sold on deadline day than all 62 days put together and that's because clubs are more realistic with transfer fees. Its a normal thing. Besides Wenger buys late because he wants to get through the CL payoffs first. So since there will be no playoffs for us we trust that he will buy early. I also hold your fears because Wenger is unpredictable.

1. Surely you were watching di Maria and not Ozil. We saw the best of Ozil in the second stanza of the season. He struggled in the first due to fatigue after the world cup same with with Per, both did not take part in pre season. Wenger gave Ozil a special break at December.
2. Belerin and Coquelin cost £100mil shebi since money buys success.
3. Did you see Wilshere today? No comments.

So is wilshere the hope now

You know that about transfers, Cech is a second choice keeper who has an extra year on his contract. It is only respect that he may be allowed to leave. If Mou insists he may make him see out his contract thus preventing him from joining Arsenal.
