When night comes,fear comes,
even with my clothes on,I see myself naked,
The worms in my stomach panic in anger,
my body seeks protection from the hard touch of cold.
On a hard bed of bitumen i sleep and on stones i lay my head.
Having bridges as my blanket,
yet i cannot run away from the heavy touch of cold.
Stalked inbetween two door,
i cannot move ahead neither can i turn to the back,
i seek oppurtunity to show the skill imbelded in me.
But like a die i get tossed throw and frow,
and given an empty hope.
I and my family where like shadows,
part of the society but not observed nor recognised.
Legs we both pocess,hands we both have but wealth has just been partial.
In a borrowed attire i move,
people see me and envy my formed pretty look but behind a smile are lots of hidden things.
I have seen beyond the seers,
i have witnessed alot even than the press,
my shoes cries for change in the society.
A society where we are robbed of our entitlement,
bullets throw parties in the air,
corruption has taken its seat at the top and our government are ambassadors of poverty in foreign nations.
We are independent and at thesame time slaves,
with anger i decided journey into the future to see how it will look if the present is like this,
but ungetting there
