Any Nairalanders Living In Paris? by Meiji(m): 8:01pm On Jun 13, 2015
Hello all,

I intend to move to Paris, France in two months' time for postgraduate studies, and I'd like to know if there are any Nairalanders living there (or in any of its suburbs). I need a lot of first-hand information about the best spots for African cuisine and markets, cheap accommodation, transportation and life generally (I don't trust the information on some of these travel advisory sites, they may be misleading).

So if you live in Paris or its suburbs (or you know someone who does), please hit me up.

Thanks.

Wow... so no Nairalanders living in or around the City of Light? I thought Nigerians live everywhere lol.

Sigh.

Wait a minute, am I not the one that should be asking questions? grin

I'm not sure I can answer all those questions in an open forum. Maybe a PM will do? I just need info to help me settle down when I get there.

Is PM or personal contact banned? I give general info to the public and give options for peeps to contact me directly or get more info from my blog. What is wrong with that please?

I haven't travelled yet, I'm still wrapping up my visa application and I intend to book Qatar Air to Paris via Doha (Air France is too expensive).

I don't feel comfortable disclosing much personal info in an open forum. Maybe we could communicate via mail.
