I seriously don't get you.....until you accept the fact that you're biased in your analysis this won't go anywhere

I have to say that including ebonyi state was funny...despite being 'debt free' what does the state have to show for the money allocated to them....atleast the states with 'debts' have something to show for it

No one is '' defending the ineptitude of these thieves"...the only thing anyone is pointing out here is your 'bias' and the 'hypocrisy' you're hammering on

I'd also like to see you 'analyse' other states owing aside SW states.....one question why SW??

Why not do an analysis of those other states?
why wait for me knowing I am biased?

thanks boss...and happy Sunday...its time people do proper analysis of their problem... LGA and states receive allocation monthly but they prefer to look unto federal always... more problem is within not outside...

Indeed the problems is within! The governors have cleverly turned the eyes of the people on the FG!

The Op is an ibo that wants to denigrate the SW!

I can't believe Aigbofa and the rest of you fell for it!

Every negative story they write about SW/Yoruba, ibos/SE have it worse but, hide it. Example is 7 months payments a Yoruba governor owe making daily news by ibos, while an ibo governor that is owing 10 months is almost invisible! grin grin grin

It really wasn't hard to spot the usual ibo lies, ignorance and deception. Funny enough, the joker didn't do basic research hence claiming enugu and eboyin are financially stable when in fact they are they are equally in debt and are owing salaries .

The ignorant OP is intellectually lazy and fraudulent..

You can go back to my original post to refresh your mind on the essence of this thread...

I no get time for your PDP vs APC now.

However, common sense should make you appreciate that if the FG needed to borrow to pay salaries since March (?), many states being in debt should not be surprising. If GEJ is not to be blamed for the states' precarious situations, he MUST surely be held accountable for the mind boggling indebtedness of the FG. Abi na lie?

And why must your conditions be the only acceptable ones? You funny guy.

Like I said earlier, Aregbe and Ajimobi messed up but the deed is done and I support whatever ways to make them answer for any wrongdoing they may have engaged in. Dem no be my uncle or brothers.

Debts are not necessarily bad but when no meaningful projects are on ground to justify such debts it becomes a curse.

You obviously don't read over what you post. You not only dabbled into infrastructure in your original post, it was part of your argument and what you based your flawed assertions so why go elsewhere or start a new thread to debate that?

Quit being crookedly deceptive and disingenuous.

No matter how nebulous you try to be, what your post says is simple "The people of the SW, the APC have veiled you with propaganda, look at how your SE/SS brothers under PDP are doing, don't you want to be like them?"
And my reply to that is simple all the PDP states you mention are owing salaries and other arrears, Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu the supposed model PDP states are sunk in debt, Enugu is even the most-indebted in the SE

My comment ba?

AregbeUseless, my state governor, is nothing but a GOAT.

He borrowed from every everywhere, the goat never thought price of crude would dwindle which affected the allocation the state gets.

When they deduct money to service the debt, what remains is little or nothing. So, what does he do with the little FG send monthly to Osun? I don't know.

We shall overcome this problem, I believe.

All these fake statistics u keep posting to keep your self happy means nothing. The reality is that the south east is by far the least developed region in Nigeria, was it not just 2 years ago that the first international airport started operating in the east? Do you have a sea or even river port? Again how many standard universities do you have? How many industries? How many good and motorable roads?

You think a place is developed because of a few mansions being built here and there in the bush? Face the east and stop posting fake statistics to make your self happy, that was exactly the way Okonjo Iweala was busy posting stupid statistics while the nation was sinking, while in reality, she has been borrowing money to pay salaries.

Nice write up@ Op but i don't think your write up should focus on South West States alone.
The truth is we don't have leaders that have an idea about what Government is about. Nigerians really need to wake up and stop been tribalistic.

Nigerians need to fight against Godfatherism, tribalism, corruption and selfish interest.
I don't know why people like Tinubu with shady past should be the one to dictate what goes on in South West.

Nigerian Politics Stinks.

Is Anambra the only state not having problems paying salaries? Are there other states in the south west paying salaries? If so why are you specifically mentioning SW states?
If a loan was taken to build a road or build a school did you factor in the economic benefits of those things to the future of that child from Osun as compared to the one from Anambra?
This is a futile attempt to single out the SW for bashing and you are doing a pretty bad job.
Shame on you for been sentimental, you are so blind to see the truth. Why do you guys always base everything on Ethnicity and tribalism? You all are sick in the head, that's why you keep having Drug barons and whatnot as your leaders. You all stink of corruption.

Last I checked, you started a thread on NL titled Daura (The President's ethnic home and belonging with derogatory term (Dullard) next to it while your minions responded accordingly to your idiotic and senseless tribal baiting...

That was ethnic and tribal baiting and you should know this unless you have the brain of a 2 year old.

Mind you, I am not saying SE/SS are infallible but based on the propaganda in the system today, why should APC states be dying...it is contradictory and worst heat are my brothers in SW...

In as much as i wanted to agree with you on some valid points you raised, saying that south west states are the worse hit is a big lie.....Abia state is in the east, the state is the first to start owing workers, infact as we speak, the state is owing its workers for over 10 months, Enugu owes workers of its parastatals for 10 months also, imo is owing for 5 months, out of 5 south east states, 3 are owing.
Even Akwa Ibom state, the richest in terms of oil rrvenue is also owing, Rivers state nko? Benue is totally moribund, Bayelsa might be managing to pay its workers because of the small size of its civil service but even the governor admitted that most capital projects have been on hold now for over a year.

You cant compare the staff strength of Anambra's civil service to that of Osun, Osun has a much bigger stafg strenght. Even Soludo criticised the Anambra government for deciding to save money instead of investing the money in projects that will galvanise the state into an economic hub.

It does not make sense saving money when 80% of your indigenes have to migrate to to other places if they hope to make any head way in business.

Yes our governors have been wasteful and stupid, but it is not in any way limited to the south west governors, it is a national thing. And GEJ did not help matters he allowed a culture of waste to thrive without any attempt to check it.

The era of oil is gradually coming to an end, its time to buckle up and face realities, as for the south west.... don't bother about us, if the Abacha and Goodluck era could not bring us down, we shall surely survive.
anambra people poor? You are a joke! Osun, OYO and Ogun States are owing Anambra state FYI....
Anambra state hasn't renegade in paying salaries when due. Governor even added 15percent to salaries,
They pay youth corp members when due.
They provide accomodation for corp member too.. The school management also pay them stipends too. Anambra state is very strong
