It's no news now that our beloved fashionista Toke Makinwa is currently undergoing some turmoil in her marriage. The whole thing truly came as a shock to me and made me realise truly, not all that glitters is gold. I pray Toke bounces back from this damaging scandal and praying for peace and forgiveness to reign in the lives of all parties involved.

On the 30th April 2015, Toke Makinwa [/b]uploaded an advice vlog called "Love Yourself Enough" of which she indirectly addressed her recent drama with hubby [b]Maje Ayida and babymama-to-be Anita Solomon. In this video, it appears she decoyed her situation under a false character called "Sarah" who supposedly "wrote in for advice". It is possible that Toke was aware of all of these shenanigans prior to the story breaking out to the public via Stella Dimoko's blog.

In her vlog, Toke indirectly takes shots at Anita (the other woman in Maje's life, referring to her as a side chick whom Maje will never marry. Do see video below.

Meanwhile, here is some tea from an insider who knows more about what REALLY transpired between all parties involved:


"Between me and you Anita's elder bro was my first love. And I can tell you that as of ***** while I was in Unical, Anita (popularly called pinky) had dated Maje for two yrs plus. 8 years is too short to describe the relationship timeline.
They were in love. At some point she lived in Lagos with him and his parents knew her. He knew her family too. Maje loves Anita so much. But Toke fits the profile alot better that's why he chose her.
Anita too is a very tough choleric girl. She has the tendency to be rude and unfriendly, so Toke being a 'peoples' person was warmer to friends and family.

When I saw his pics with Toke for the first time I was like: is this not pinky's bf from way back?!

Rumours also say they once fought publicly at silverbird cinema over another girl. Maje has also once slapped Toke in public and stood her up at Ikoyi Registry a few years back. In her desperation after 11years of dating and 8 years of going back and forth between her and Anita, she publicized a break-up with him in order to emotionally blackmail him into marrying her. This worked because just a few months later, they had their famous "surprise wedding"
