| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:17pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:Not quite true because Saraki is also Yoruba. His emergence automatically meant another Yoruba could not emerge as speaker. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Francis5(op): 9:18pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:Saraki is not Yoruba, moreso he is not from the SW |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:19pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:That means the VP & DSP takes care of SW, SE & SS. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Francis5(op): 9:22pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:You are daft. Are VP and DSP heads of govt arms? Do you even understand what this thread is talking about? |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:23pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:Thats to you. To we core northerners, Saraki is Yoruba with Fulani ancestry. Both his parents and grandparents were yoruba. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:27pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:Excuse you. Your thread lacks basis. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Francis5(op): 9:29pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:Since you are too dense-headed to grasp it, I'll spell it out for you again below: This is the first time in the history of democracy in Nigeria that the headship of all the positions that matter in national government went to only one region of the country. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:47pm On Jun 16, 2015*. Modified: 6:57am On Jun 17, 2015 |
imhotep:The North is more developed than where you are from and we can test this hypothesis. The same people you've called mumu for decades have continued to outsmart you at every turn leaving you whining like you're doing on this thread. The irony. The North has never had real leadership that would allow development, just jack-booted soldiers that treated Nigeria like their barracks, not minding the future or improving the standard of living of any bloody civilian. PMB's new focus on diversifying the economy, investing heavily in agriculture, solid mineral development and resuming the prospecting for oil in the Chad Basin should have given you an idea of the current state of mind of the North. Asari Dokubo's vituperations reminded us we were regarded as parasites because we allowed the country's focus to be locked on oil, we bore the insults and restragized...and boy has it paid off. With Kwankwaso, El-rufai, Tambuwal et al, the North now has real progressive political leadership that will bring massive development to the region starting with the reconstruction of the NE after BH is eliminated. I believe you have heard of the bill already, under the nurture of none other than the son of the soil himself, Speaker of the HoR Dogara. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 9:56pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:You're the dunce and you still don't realize it after several posters have corrected you. Executive: North-WEST (Hausa/Fulani) Legislature: SP: North-CENTRAL (Yoruba/Fulani) Speaker: North-EAST (Minority tribe) Judiciary: North-WEST (Hausa/Fulani) |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Francis5(op): 9:58pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:You are an irredeemable semi-illiterate. Which of those are from the South? |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 10:07pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:Are you cerebrally deformed? You claimed all the arms were headed by individuals from one region, which would have been valid if Nigeria operated 2 regions like in the past (North/South). However since the current administrative structure consists of 6 geo-political zones, which is the basis of the zoning principle you expect to be adhered to, it would be completely illogical and irrational to infer that individuals from 3 of those regions represent one region. Now that I had to spoon-feed common sense to you i hope you can digest it before giving me another daft mention. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Francis5(op): 10:11pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:Complete moro/n!! Zone is not = region We have 2 regions and 6 zones, MOFO Plus, your zoning formula tells you all of these positions should go to the North, right? |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Dollyak(f): 10:15pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
dimensional:Please stop bringing God into messy situations. We need to keep our head down, regroup and re plan. . |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 10:16pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:What an irretrievable dullard... Gosh you are DULL. Since when did regions become the basis of Nigeria's administrative structure? The zoning principle which you want applied is based on 6 regions right? Olodo. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Nobody: 10:22pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Francis5:keep quiet, you don't know anything about politics. If there are yoruba senator and reps will they make themselves senate president and speaker? Isn't this same SE that will support them to be against the dominant north. Since SE has chosen to play the spoiler let things remain as it is |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Ramnon2: 10:33pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
eliment:The point is why can the North not support the SW to be SP or speaker? You helped them get the presidency but they could not help you secure your own desire. |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Ramnon2: 10:35pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
QuotaSystem:Based on North versus South. That is the first tier of zoning formula |
| Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by QuotaSystem: 10:36pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Ramnon2:The zoning formula which does not exist by the way, is based on 6 geo-political zones. |

Francis5:Please can you add 'Leader of Nigeria port authority situated in Lagos- Hausa Leader of petroleum - Hausa-buari This will show people how bad it is. |

Dollyak:Not that I'm in support of winner-takes-all, but did you also show people how bad it was under Jonathan who blatantly side-lined, subjugated and marginalized 4 whole geo-political zones using his cronies and lap-dogs? It was a core northerner, Dr. Junaid Mohammed that screamed at the injustice being meted on the Yoruba under Jonathan. Hear him; "If you compare man for man, the South-West has more people that are better educated with university degrees than the entire South-South. But when you look at the protocol list of the top 20 officials in the country, from the President downwards, there is only one Yoruba man. I am not trying to incite any unnecessary fears, but if all the appointees were chosen based on merit and there was no qualified Yoruba person who could be in that group of 20, I am prepared to concede. But the fact of the matter is that for every one out of those 20, there are thousands of Yorubas who are qualified but were not appointed. If you don’t call that marginalisation, then I don’t know what it is. You can make an excuse that maybe northerners like me are not educated. That was what Edwin Clark said until he had to admit at the National Conference that he was mistaken and he had become aware that many northerners were also educated. The reality is that there was a deliberate machinery set in motion to alienate certain sections of the country; the entire North and the South-West were particularly singled out for marginalisation and, to a large extent, that succeeded. Look at the economy, for instance; it is headed by a woman who started her career as a geographer that was bundled up and shipped to Nigeria to be made Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria is an Igbo man. Within the CBN, there is an agency called the Assets Management Company of Nigeria. For the most part, it has been headed by Igbo men. The Nigeria Economic Summit Group is also headed by an Igbo man. The Securities and Exchange Commission, until two months ago, was headed by an Igbo woman. The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria has been headed by an Igbo man. If you look carefully, you will notice that the movers and shakers of the national economy are Igbos, and not because they are the best or the brightest, but simply because they could not find Ijaw people. Now that this so-called Coordinating Minister of the Economy has driven the economy into a ditch, we are being confronted with economic disaster for which every Nigerian, whether Igbo or non-Igbo will pay a price. We now have the highest level of unemployment in the history of this country, in addition to corruption."- Dr. Junaid Mohammed. http://eagleyereportconnect..co.uk/2015/05/dr-junaid-mohammed-says-jonathan.html |

IGBOSON2:Your illogical mindset and bigotry is really mindblowing. Pls show me how this amounts to cheating: when operating in a democracy where all the positions mentioned are in fact not appointed but elective offices, where the emerging winners were all duly elected in one of the free and fairest elections to date; how in hell then can you turn around and say your ppl are being cheated - did they not take part in the entire election process (local, state & federal); were they not free to field and vote for their candidate of choice or were they asleep? I truly hate bigotry ![]() |

Dollyak:What is fair and what is unfair? That the manufacturers association of Nigeria is headed by an igbo? How is the head of that pressure group elected? Through members consent or through a presidential fiat? Buhari is the head of cattle rustlers in Nigeria, do I begrudge him? The xenophobe you quoted had to part the ocean to find a ministry "dominated" by the igbos under jonathan, you should have asked him who dominates/d the customs, police force, NNPC, the ministry that takes charge of Abuja, the solid mineral ministry, federal civil service, army etc. . Most of the professoonals he mentioned heading the finance ministry have been there utilizing their renowned skills(note!) to salvage government parastatals destroyed by a bunch of ultra inefficient 'quota system' inepts populated in the main by some babaringa wearing northerners and their owanbe slaves with their nauseously gaseous "come and chop" mentality. . . That said, I am not a member off the southern groups worried by the destructive results of Tinubus imbecelic political experimentations. When Tinubu-SW teamed up with buharis north to ruthlessly/remorselessly brutalise a weak jonathan ceaselessly, finally chasing him away from Abuja with so much fanfair, discerning minds did warn of the far reaching implications of this odious reality both on ethnic relations in Nigeria and on all the unholly alliances cobbled up by these groups with the eastern minorities to devide and rule. The scales are off now. The minorities know better. With war against the militants looming just few weeks after jonathans humiliations, any student of ethnic politics wil tell you that SW/North has provided the east with pure gold. Take it from me- and I am not consoling myself- by the time this dispensation winds down, those laughing last may not be from the north or SW. |

imhotep:They go jam fire , we are waiting for them.We are giving them a grace and honeymoon period that GEJ never got.But once they start their "rebuild the north east program" they/nigeria go hear nwie.. IGBOSON2:People like that annoy, infuriate and enrage me far more than the oppressors do. Ritchiee:They will not have eight years mark it , i said it here. owobokiri:These guys don't know whats brewing in the ND. They pushed gentle man GEJ out (an act that will ironically prove beneficial to the ND down the line) and they think that the food through will remain intact.Unseating GEJ in the manner that they did, they have unwittingly brought forward a series of events unfolding that they would rather not happen for as long as the nigeria they know exists.A case of unintended consequences. Things have changed, it's not the change that they scream up and down about if they cant figure it out well....... |

QuotaSystem:Hmmmmmm. But the hypocrite yeebhoes still want the SW to continue with there adopted son even when being marginalized. No wonder they are crying more than the Ijaws, too much greed. With all the positions, they are still begging for 2nd niger bridge and others. |

ItsMeAboki:^^^Tell that to the marines! Who told you i was referring to just elective positions!? You crafty lot use the facade of 'democracy' to justify the lopsided balance of power in this country! I wouldn't put much faith in the Nigerian brand of 'democracy' if i were you!......We all know everything is settled in the living rooms of power-brokers and political godfathers before they come out in the open for the charade that's to follow! But it's ok......so long as it's the north that's the beneficiary! Just imagine if the tables were turned and it was the south and mainly christians having the upper hand.....you lot would have been up in arms by now and razed the country to the ground! You guys are sore losers; you can't bear being out of the corridors of power; and you certainly know how to bear a long grudge! ![]() |

attacker231:^^^You accuse Igbos of greed because of those few positions mentioned!? Ok....i challenge you to mention specifically how the Igbo nation benefited from the positions in question! You also realize some got those jobs through international recruitment agencies......like the positions for the head of the Sovereign Wealth Fund and Stock Exchange!? |
