price elasticity of supply= percentage change in supply/percentage change in price

percentage change in supply = change in supply/old quantity supplied x100

percentage change in price = change in price/old price x 100

To get percentage change in supply
change in supply =120-100 =20
old quantity supplied =100

20/100x100 = 20%

to get percentage change in price
change in price =#2.50-#2.00= #0.50
old price= #2.00

#0.50/#2.00 x100 =25%

remember
price elasticity of supply= percentage change in supply/percentage change in price

so ....20/25 =0.8
that's how I got my own o
