There are vacant farm lands available for interested people who want to cultivate crops. These plots of farmland are already being given out to local and foreign investors at very cheap rates. The farmland is being managed by the River Basin Development Authorities, Agricultural Development Projects (ADPs) and farm settlement schemes. They are being leased at about N2,500 per a plot for a period provided you register. This is an on going project which has taken effect in many places. The secret is by forming cooperatives.
