I think world class is giving a great performance day in day out, he's not spent a long time with us for us to determine that

As regards winning the EPL or UCL. it's funny, somethings are not as simple as 1+1. Pls the keeper who won FC porto the UCL, was he world class? I can't even remember his name. Meaning you just can't tell it until they do

Is Cech actually better than Ospina on current form? I will say NO! Cech at 34 or 35 cannot be as good as Ospina in my own opinion. We should leave Cech alone and buy a quality stricker, DM and a top class defender. That is all we need in my humble opinion.

I always point that Man Utd wouldn't be in the top 4 if not for De Gea. We have always had great goalies- from Seaman to Lehmann. They were difference makers. Lehmann did not concede a goal in the 2006 UCL in all matches until he was sent off in the finals. But when Aluminium came in... You saw the Belletti goal didn't you?

But how will it feel to have 3 international keepers in one team? I think Sz...ny would go on loan.

Goal keepers are like wine, the older the better until sour.

The major skill in goal keeping is confidence and that comes with experience which itself comes only with time.

Look at Buffon at 37, van Der Saar kept till he was 40, our own Lehmann too was 40, I don't know if Oliver Kahn was 45 when he became best keeper at his last WC before that dreadful mistake in his final game, Mark Schwarzer 39. Cech at 33 is better than even De Gea at 24 I tell you.

Yes we need a new CF and DM but with Cech for £11mil, and willing to join us? Too sweet to pass by.

And Mou knows this so the thing dey pain him die, that's why he wants an exchange with Chambo- see thief bad belle. :p

In one breath you say the fact they are international means they may be world class
In another you concede keepers save points in the case of de gea.


So why do you rate ospina or scz ahead of cech

Scz has been.given a lot of opportunity
His ball distribution is whack..
He has lost command of his box unlike his first full season

He can b sold really or loaned

His head is not there now

IMO, David Ospina hasn't performed badly. If Cech does come, no problemo if he doesn't it doesn't do us harm

Victor Baia was world class. Someone who won best keeper in Europe and best keeper/player in Portugal multiple times plus also won over 20 titles with Barca and Porto has got to be WC, No?

That aside, Arsene has not come out to say bringing in Cech automatically rules out buying a CF or DM. So let's not conclude. Everywhere I go, I hear fans and others say we need 3 quality signings to compete next season - GK, DM and CF. If we bring in Cech, that's one down, two to go.

Wenger didn't use to buy early because he wanted to be sure of UCL which is understandable. That's one of the reasons, the other is that clubs who really want to sell especially to raise funds or trim their squads break their resolves on the last day, so the players come at reasonable prices. Same with every other club that is why 70% of transfers take place on the last day.

Nevertheless if the money is available, it is better to pick up the player early enough so he can blend with others during preseason. I think that was what helped Sanchez to have his spectacular first season with us. So now that we are already in the UCL lets hope that Arsene will complete his major business early.

There's nothing like stunting their growth. WS1's growth has already been stunted by himself. If Cech comes in, he's going on loan to an EPL club. Ospina would be backup

Fact is whether Cech comes or not, we can't keep Ospina and Szczesny happy for long. They are both in their primes and there's just one year age difference between them. Both will want to play consistently which obviously can't happen.

you don't know how shitty a goalie can be with a useless defence? No matter how good he is, once his defence line is bad a goalie has no say.

Majority of our loses this season were not down to goal keeper error rather faulty defending
