I doubt he applied for a specific position. If he did not then he should not be considered because he doesn't have anything to offer.
I would have been impressed with an application that is specific and states what he is bringing to the office he is applying to.

He don't have to state the specific ministerial position. That is wisdom.

From his profile, they will know where he will fit if he is consider for the position of a minister. He might fit two to three different ministries, so why pick one. What if that one he picked has been occupied by a godfather?

I like his confidence and courage.
He could actually have something to offer in terms of knowledge, experience and most importantly integrity.

Sadly, Nigerians only get to recognize and respect thieves who uses their stolen wealth to oppress us but these kind of good materials are not looked at nor even recognized in their iediate constituency cos they don't spread money around to undeserving ones.

A background check on him will reveal more about him.
I respect his approach as I don't see it as desperation but someone yearning to serve and join the change team.

The ministerial list is not yet long enough to accommodate all the fighting power blocks in APC, before considering a comedian applicant from newspaper. But the guy smart sha as he put an incorruptible erudite scholar and comrade- Balarabe Musa as his key referee. He might be invited for a chat with the president and given some adhoc assignments for his ingenuity.
