centje:let's start with the employment opportunities and food security first. Then the tax |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by cjrane: 1:54am On Jun 20, 2015 |
Kcinho:Bro, that is the mindset that have kept Nigeria so undeveloped. WE MUST PAY OUR TAXES ,then we have earned the right to demand how government should invest, on infrastructure, industries & agriculture to create employment and food security, education, health etc, etc, etc, because they are trusted with OUR TAX MONEY! If we do not pay taxes, we have absolutely no right to tell government how to spend their funds since its not "tax payers money" that they are spending. |

jude2011:I don't doubt you at all, I am very happy about this news, this will surely boost our agricultural output. |

I am happy Mbaka is investing in the east. Igbos must chart a new cause of thinking home! spyder880: |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Kcinho(m): 12:36pm On Jun 20, 2015 |
cjrane:Not really, what has actually kept us underdeveloped is the inability of the government to gain the trust of its citizens by utilizing our common wealth and natural resources well to make the environment and life as a whole conducive for individuals. A government that can't account for funds accruing from our natural resources does not deserve tax from its citizens. this has been the situation in Nigeria since independence. They may not be spending tax payers money but it's still our common wealth. Every individual has a right to it. How does one expect the trader in Aba to pay his tax happily. Abi the workers in Ekiti no dy pay tax? Imagine coming to collect Eswama bill for a house under construction like spyder wrote earlier. Till our government in Nigeria steps up I'm only concerned about what will put food on the table of the ordinary Enugu man. If you do not provide job opportunities or business/investment friendly environment, you don't have any right to ask any citizen to pay tax. |

chinolization:This !d!ot called chino is nothing but a fvrking retard!!! I spit on you and whatever you identify with!!! How can this juvenile riff-raff who has contributed nothing to the development of the S.East habour such hate against people that does not even know if he exist. Its a pity that some people who I believe are equally Igbos liked those hate-filled gibberish that psycho kept spewing against Imo state and its people. That boy called chino really needs help and urgently too, that jobless and illiterate oaf who escaped autism by the whiskers should know that Imo state holds a pride of place not only in Igboland but indeed in the whole of Nigeria in so many areas. Every state or city in Nigeria or even in the world cannot be industrial, that is what that boy does not know. Yes, I agree that a couple of blue chip companies built in Owerri or its environ wont be a bad idea, at-least to balance the economy of the state but priority should be on tourism by building projects like wonderlands or Disney parks and aquatic parks, by virtue of being sandwiched by commercial and industrial cities in close proximity e.g Aba and Onitsha, Owerri and indeed Imo state is already at a disadvantage, Suffix it to add that many Imolites own industrial concerns in both cities and beyond. People should call that boy called chino to order before his madness goes out of hand. |

Godson Nwankwo, you are a bastard and deserved to be stoned to death or be disemboweled for the hawks to eat. Yes it is hate because I responded in kind to the deranged goat called abagworo who goes about courting trouble and when the trouble eventually comes he will play the victim card. I care-less about Imo state because as far as Nigeria is concerned it is a useless state- a minus one. I will keep attacking the useless Imo state with the harsh truth until such a time your useless brother abagworo learns to mind his business. You are the one who needs help because you are not only an unlettered jobless animal but because your parents are animals themselves to have given birth to another animal called Godson Nwankwo. Keep wandering in Lokoja aimlessly, you will keep wandering. Thunder rip off your head for all I care. If e pain you so much over my comments then go and kill yourself. ![]() [s] MrEverest:[/s] |

You are supposed to be married but I wonder the kind of wife that would tolerate such a psycho like you!! I pity the kind of children your despicable loins will bring forth I only feel your pains because your frustration is so apparent, your family is at the risk of a palpable destruction because your place is at the rehab and not with sane people. Imo state is the least of your problems, Abagworo is not from Imo state, if you have any personal grudge against him why not take it out on him and stop making a fool of your despicable self. Dude, go hang yourself and save our generation another re.ter.d ![]() |

centje:We should also encourage our people to build standard office buildings to create more office spaces for businesses eager to move into Enugu. Investing in real estate can never be unprofitable in an emerging economy. The lack of office spaces is a real impediment and we don't even need skyscrapers. Buying some of those bungalow buildings on Okpara avenue, Ogui road Zik avenue,or Presidential road and replacing them with just 3-5 storey high office buildings as in the picture will do it and create standard office spaces in the city.Such building ground floor also provide appropriate spaces for modern restaurants or even boutiques

InyinyaAgbaOku:.So the only thing worthy of mention gburugburu did since he mounted the saddle was barking at some faceless contractor to speed up work in one tiny insignificant holy ghost/ogbete axis? Poppycok! The nigga better shoot, and fast too! No time to waste! Has he even nominated his cabinet? Kindly avail us! Udo! |

Abagworo:C'mon shatap Abagworo, i'm not here for your likes. You probably don't know there are architectural differences between an office building and a residential building. BTW, i'm advocating for OFFICE BUILDINGS and not residential buildings. You had the nerve to post a HOTEL as your model for residential buildings. Where have you seen residential buildings looking like 4-5 star hotels, even in the USA? You even had the audacity to call residential buildings in Enugu " Igbotic" , while in your Ikwerre area, people resided in slum dwellings only fit for poultry and you have no comments on that? |

Poverty inflicted animal, shanties and Ikwerre-type houses litters all over owerre is still there staring at u but u have time to go about courting trouble. Why not go and face ur useless state of imo for once? Can't u see clearly that u are being treated like an animal and a persona non grata the reason why nobody comes to ur state thread? Don't worry I am coming there with new pictures on that ur thread. ![]() Abagworo: |

CentralIntels:Chino! note that we didn't send you to post vile in Imo thread! We don't support that behavior and you are definitely not doing that on our behalf. That type of behavior is equally reprehensible and childish. Needless to say I'm originally from Abia and have several cousins from Imo state. |

Abagworo:Abagworo or whatever kolanut specie u chose to call urself! Listen well! First,i heard you are a cross breed of Imo and Ikwerre. Igbos will never cast away their own seed but your reprehensible attitude of casting demeaning jabs at us all, both on this thread and the Anambra thread must be noted openly. Unfortunately,ur maternal state,Imo state is governed by one shambolic, lousy and comical profligate known as Rochas. He has since shown to be a disaster in governance. Most of the things you criticize here are lacking and are still pipe dreams in Imo state in spite of their enviable human resources. If only you will focus your bile on him to step up! Documented history has it that your kinsmen,Ikwerre, seized Igbo properties after the Biafra genocide. As you can see,we have since moved from bungalows to multistorey edifices, the very ones you call Igbotic! It is a testament of pride and affluence! I still wonder why your River State remains a sprawling pile of squalid and squatter settlements with little to show even in the midst of the petrodollars.#shame# Have you ever imagined what Chime or Obi/Obioano would have done in their respective states if they had the kind of resources Rochas and Amechi had at their disposal? Both Imo and Rivers are NDDC states with mind blowing allocations yet they are yet to turn neither the physical nor the economic fortunes around.Save for the federal government projects,by viture of being an oil producing state and the expatriate firms facilities,River state will be an eyesore. I was among those who repel Chino from insulting but you have since shown to be unworthy of respect. Isn't it funny that you still fail to note the difference between residential building and office blocks. Bros get enlightened and by all means acquire exposure more! Iam still waiting for you to open a thread and showcase the economic, social and political developments in River State.Your imo thread is crawling and almost on life support.Bros take time. Happy sunday! |

^^^^^^ I expected Abia state governor to come up with the same plan/team for Aba and Umuahia but he's still very local with his approach in tackling the problems of Aba and its environs. Kudos to Enugu state for thinking and acting right. |
