Instead of making everything political, let us fight those who steal our money and do nothing. Please comment about all the Federal roads and projects in the South East for which fund have been paid and not delivered. If you do that, you will be fighting for Ndi Igbo instead of getting caught up in hatred and hero worship. This goes for all of us.

If Jonathan were to be still in power, someone would have just pocketed the money and the work on the refineries still not be done just as was done a few years back. Defend and make comments that will bring meaningful development on Igbo Land.
My Bro there ws no hatred or hero worship from me, just saying things the wy they are.
U see how u just twisted facts in ur statement. This news u read is upto 3wks old, if u visit my Iigbo blog u wil see it as d oldest news,it came out upto 3wks ago, but because some ppl saw no good in Jona dts y u said if he ws there d money would hav bn pocketed.
Now lemme ask you were those refineries worked on within 3 dys of presidential inauguration? That work hs bn on 4 over a year! But ws not publcised, so my bro u can retract ur statement be factual not judgemental. Tnx.

The 1st Igbo language blog is out, it is fun and insightful. Visit, comment, share and criticize.www.odeniigbo..com

Just last week we heard PMB requesting for hand over notes. He is less than a month in office with no minister, No SGF or officials in place asides 2 media officers and has been busy visiting west Germany and others yet we accord this achievement to him? If GEJ had campaigned with this Which is not seen by the masses like the roads he commissioned would we have believed him? Pls stop the propangada and accord respect to whom it is due. Else the way you have treated this man will God treat you the same. May you work and your sweats awarded to another.
Long live Nigeria

Its a very good news to hear dis, as PMB is set to shake up NNPC as a whole. Over time since 1999, monies has always been accrued to fixing dis refineries but because PDP government had been inundated wit corruption, dey never allowed it to start working.
Dis is reality we all know and its high time we keep brandishing lies!

Turnaround Maintenance has been on even before GEJ. The surprise is in its completion at a time when the new govt is planning to investigate its activities.
I get your point boss, which is a fair assessment. But you can't attribute anything to Buhari, the man has practically done nothing but jet round the globe and pay courtesy visits. Plus now Ramadan has begun, so even less time to be very active for a man his age.

GEJ built and commissioned far more power stations than his predecessors, that wasn't really in the NEWS.
GEJ initiated the gas revolution and built a massive gas supply network across the nation. That wasn't really in the NEWS
GEJ achieved much more, still those were either in the NEWS or the FG didn't harp much about it.

That's all because it was GEJ'S nature. He wasn't like APC leaders who threw fanfares for simple streetlight. Like every other project the TAM for these refineries were carried out as usual cos it was govt responsibility under GEJ'S watch.

Yet it is GMB, who doesn't even know his left from right, can't even set up his own cabinet, can't formulate a plan to lead the nation with the whole country drifting, that now receives the glory for GEJ's work?! FVCK NO!
[b]Na waa Ohh!

So GEJ built and commissioned many Power Stations.... and those Power Plants were supplied by the massive gas Supply Networks that GEJ built?

Are you "seriously mentally deranged or just plain daft?
Otherwise maybe you would agree that GEJ's Power Stations did NOT supply Electricity because we all know that Nigeria's Electricity Power generation fell from 8,000MW (under OBJ), to 3,000MW in 2012 and even less than 1,200MW, by the time that slowpoke called GEJ handed over power in 2015!

So, where is the Power from the "Phantom Power Stations" he built?

Okay, l get your point. GEJ hid the Power Stations in Otuoke so that he can hand it over to Buhari when he is booted out of office! grin grin grin
You people are really sub-human in your thought process.

Ans: Jonathan bastardised and impeded the refineries due to corruption and his support of fake petroleum subsidy.

Thank God we now have a reliable president in Buhari.

God bless Buhari.

Quite unfortunate reading low-thought process minds' comment on vital public issue like this.

For our 4 "semi-dead" refineries to be suddenly announced ready for full operation in <2-month into a new administration-APC calls for many questions that are begging for answers from the previous administration-PDP.

How on earth would a govt that Commission rehabilitation of 3MB in Lagos, Lagos-Ibadan Express Highway, "commission of launching" of 2nd Niger Bridge in the east etc have not published mile-stone success of TAM of our 4 comatose/semi-dead refineries, knowing fully well that such govt needs "WIN" in the last general election?

So, rather than the then PDP Admin to concentrate on "mile-stone success" of TAM of the 4 refineries as part of major achievements, the admin decided to "promote" the publicity of its main opponent? Lol
I was going to give u a concise reply and maybe school you a lil bit on issues and things concerning the refineries but apparently, you have a high thought process mind and don't need any anymore knowledge.

Take it somewhere else, u won't get your 2 mins of fame here.

what happens to that headlines that says d 4 refineries will gulp up to some 999million/bilion(can't remember precisely) to repair by foreing engineers/our indigenous engineers some months back and that there was no specific time frame for it completion if it were to b handled by our own indigenous engineers but a year completion by d foreing engineers. Or I'm I d only one that read that news, cos m confused here oo

Well they were just playing Jonathan , he sits comfortable in Aso villa and doesnt even sent out delegates to inspect some things. They played him and they also played Nigerians as a whole. Someone must face the wrath of the law for all this lies

I knew something was fishy because before Obasanjo left he fixed all the four refineries and all of a sudden when Yaradua died the whole 4 stopped working at the same time, i small fraud
MaziOmenuko:
You dey mind them? Late last year, the company I worked for did minor routine repairs on Warri Refinery; I was at Warri Refinery for the job and marveled at the rate of production. The plant was producing at 80% capacity! None of those locally produced fuel are accounted for; they are all recirculated as imported products and the FG pays subsidy on it again.

Peeps don't know the type of scam Denziani and GEJ are: they were all part of the scam!

We shouldn't be blinded by anything. We should be fair and just for the sake of the progress of our dear country. There's no place like home...we need to make naija a better place by supporting what's good for the country irrespective of our individual believes. It shall be well with Nigeria. By fire by thunder enemies of progress shall scatter and never be progressive in life...Amen!smiley

Look at this buffoon. That you don't know the power stations commissioned by your ex-president clearly shows the need for you to spend less time watching Davido and co, and more time reading. Even worse is your claim of power dropping from a phantom "8,000MW". Seriously Bumwipe, if you don't have any freaking idea about an industry, here's an advice: SHUT UP AND DO A BIT MORE READING!! Under OBJ power NEVER EVER exceeded 1,500MW. Under GEJ power, for the first time in Nigeria, generated power EXCEEDED the 1,500MW and PEAKED AT ALMOST 5,000MW, the highest generated power level under any administration. That was before the drop in generated power due to the gas pipeline vandalism. Even at that, current generated by is still over 2000 MW and still higher than OBJs

These old threads remind me of how deeply ingrained misinformation is in Nigeria and of the desperation Nigerians have for good news.

On the first page, those celebrating the "news", whether GEJ or Buhari supporters, got the most likes. Those expressing skepticism, and who turned out to be right, received the fewest likes.
