MalcoImX:But APC is being fair and sincere when they wrote that buhari has achieved more than Jonathan did under same duration with regard to insurgency and people clapped for them notwithstanding a bomb par day scene since he came in... And it is fair when passingshot and co open thread ascribing TAM or whatever NNPC seems to have gotten to buhari while hypocritically dodging the negatives to Jonathan while claiming buhari is still settling down... It is fair when we ascribe any good to buhari and all bad to Jonathan... Read my signature...thanks bro... |

Whynotthetruth:You ought to find it paradoxical that we have similar monikers relating to truth. but when we address the same issues in politics, we are poles apart. PMB promised to hit the ground running, but late submission of hand over note made it impossible. Be calm, the state ship is operating in a stealth mode for now and vital agencies of govt are roaring to life: Defence, Police, EFCC, Accountant General, EFCC, refineries, etc. The policies are being retooled to reflect the facts and figures given by GEJ admin. once the MDAs get their briefs through their ministers, many corrupt desks will be cleared for fresh ideas to have breathing space. let this be enough for now, fellow Nigerian. |

pembisco:You're as naive and as gullible as a person can be. If you've been following events, you would surely have understood why the president has not appointed his ministers. Are you not aware of ongoing efforts to reduce ministries to around 19 or so? If yes, do you then expect him to still appoint ministers based on the 28? Or on the new number being determined? Many of you kids shout about ministers forgeting that PMB needs to understand the amount of damage done in each ministry so as to know who fits where. Had GEJ submitted his hand over notes on May 14th as earlier promised instead of May 28th as he later did, by now PMB would have announced his ministers. You guys must understand that it's a completely new government (different from a PDP govt to another PDP's), and as such take off will ordinarily be less smooth than before. Change is not sbout gra-gra but about taking painstaking steps to tackle issues for desired outcome. |

pembisco:So for you, selecting lieutenants to run your government is a prerequisite for Good governance... Now if he chooses According to what his party might dictate you will say he is a puppet as you labelled his predecessor. You guys are impossible... Know your priorities.... |

Unless the Daura President implements the agreements of Nigerians at the CONFAB, there will be crisis in Nigeria. Buhari has said he will dump the CONFAB agreements into the dustbin. As for me and my own corner of Nigeria, CONFAB approved a 50% derivation principle. What needs to happen now is a guerrilla warfare against oil pipelines, installations and personnel until the agreement is implemented. |

Whynotthetruth:You guys enjoy getting partings on the back for analyzing The President's faults Aye? Well, I am not pro-Buhari, I can't be, but I am pro-Working government, I am pro-Citizen contribution to governance... I don't expect any government to change Nigeria overnight, GOD forbid... But in as much as I see one that shows gesture of a developmental shift, I gong for it.... So do yourself and your nation a favour Mate.... Help out to make those policies effective, stop wasting your mental resources on criticism and destructive ones at that... Be useful Mate. |

TRUTHTOPOWER:1)Yes...we have similar moniker...but while I dwell on reality you deal on fantasies... 2)You keep talking about Eldorado for a man who's yet to even figure out the nucleus of his cabinet...if he can't get the little things right how about bigger challengez... 3)I ask again what fatal obstacles is buhari clearing ![]() |

Freemanan:Quite deluding yourself about being non partisan...how's stating the fact a destructive criticism?...it is rather sycophantic and insincere citizens like you that cause governments to fail... You need to get busy with some introspection... |

Whynotthetruth:1) It is also paradoxical that the 'fantasists' for GEJ are the realitist against PMB. 2) It also puzzling that it took 2012 'subsidy saga' to make GEJ lose sizeable admirers but it took winning election after failing 3 times to make PMB lose his right presumption of innocence. His enemies were waiting for him from day zero. 3). it is amusing that those who believe Jonathan needed more time after five years could not give PMB five hours in office without one slander or the other. 4) We had 'fantansies' of fresh air also but we became realists after GEJ became overwhelmed and the country headed south (free fall). 5) What is wrong with fantasy of Change, why is it religiously impossible for you to allow a policy to thrive for six months before you come out. 6) Go to any intellectual debate where issues affecting economy are discussed you will never see any objective person argue against 'NOTHING' I mean what exactly is the real issue in your debate. NOTHING. your anger is about time and seemingly lack of policy direction. 7) unfortunately, this is subjective because you have no examples to show the practicality of your viewpoint in the Nigerian context. Without cabinet in 3 weeks, we have made progress accountability wise. I know this as a prosecutor.9) What did you say about GEJ in 2011 when he hadn't form cabinet in 3weeks. (research the fact.) 10) as a serious minded person, check the word 'disingenuous'. You know there are better things to debate about PMB/APC than all these kindergarten pokes. See Soludo's article. Govt is currently trying to address the concerns raised by the eminent Prof. 11) As for the fatal obtacles. it is on need to know basis. sorry about that. but I guess you have always been content to judge by attitude in the case of PMB. the self confessed attitude that spawned insurgency, kidnapping, unemployment under GEJ was never questioned though. 12) By their fruits you shall know them. wait until the appointed time of fruition. 13) you have accused PMB. let him open his defence and proceed before you jump up for incessant objections. it makes an attorney look real bad and prejudiced. 14) if you don't consider yourself as trained in art of prosecution, then you are permitted to bring the court down before hearing. how fair is that? never mind. |

Taaa!!! Who is that saying GEJ appointed ministers over 3 weeks. Was there any lapse before . You've forgetten Yar'adua died in office fah? A structure was already in place, Yar'adua already appointed ministers etc, the only vacant sit was President and VP. So GEJ bringing his own people was mere replacement not "appointment" per se. |
