PMB's decision is very plausible. Except from Boko Haram infested states, i see no reason why military should be on the streets.

The streets are for the police becuase they are better trained to interact with civilians in day to day activities unlike the military.

The Army shouldn't be mounting road blocks, the police has the prerogative to handle internal security.
However, this removal is not a signal that the Army is going to fold its arms as they will have more personnel to deploy for the war against BH.
Nigeria police still have competent officers, with training and motivation they can get it right.
However, IGP Arase is embarking on serious reforms that will see us have a more disciplined and focused police.
These are security matters and they don't add up easily like 2+2=4. Always many things not let out and hidden......
