Tony Hansberry II is only 14 and is quite the surgeon already. The teen-aged surgical researcher has single-handedly developed a surgical procedure that may save the lives of millions of women who undergo hysterectomy surgery. Tony is a hospital intern as well as a student at the Darnell-Cookman Middle/HighSchool. The preparatory facility is a magnet school with curriculums that are all focused on the professional medical field of practice. At this school students will learn and become masterfully proficient at suturing alone by the eighth grade. Angela TenBroeck of Darnell- Cookman Middle/HighSchool indicates that Tony and his genius is represented all throughout their student body. She says of Tony Hansberry II, “I would put him up against a first-year med student.
