I luv seeing academic punches. There are many i could be doing, but it will fly over heads like something else.

The best bet is to say what everyone understands.
Cos if you ain't saying something they can relate to, they 'ont give a f*ck!

But if you haven't set a good reputation for yourself, no go blow grammar wey go dey give readers headache.
It'll quickly chase them away.
If someone like cooger does it, readers will still read up the verse, cos they know he can't possibly be talking gibberish.


However, I believe one should only use big vocabs when there's no SIMPLE word replacement.
Which may be because, the simple word will spoil ur rhyme scheme, while the big word will perfect it.
