The pictures no make sense

The rate at which crimes are being committed is becoming perilous. From the what i deduced, i guess they made away with a certain amount of money. My question is : What happened to the security operatives attached to the banks. From what i read, there was no gunfire between there, thereby making this post a little bit void.

These two banks share a common fence and there is a police station directly opposite one of the banks, just accross the road. How come there was no reported action by the police. Could they claim they did not hear the gun shots? A lady called Channels TV and reported the incident and gun shots were heard clearly as the lady was talking to Channels TV
