@oteleye I want to believe its ovulation pain, cos I didn't feel it after CD 15. It was actually less painful on CD 15 unlike day 14 where I make an ouch sound to straighten up.

It's well dear but am sure the pain is something you can bear or ignore right?

If we have to fake it, we should, then ask for maternity leave ... Take d child as our own blood, let a baby cry in d house and while we are at it, it might just happen.

Please fellow Mama, I have been TTC for 6months now. I have regular cycle and i'm sure I ovulate. This cycle my period was delayed by a day I actually thought I have taken in until day before yesterday night that it showed and flowed normally yesterday, and then just little the next day spotting like.

Please mamas who has experienced it before and what could be the cause have never experienced it in my life 1day period. Pls help me. I don't what to go to hospital yet for the docotors to start experiementing on my system.

@tcf1980. i think u and ur wife should ponder on how much you want to tell ur mom/ mom in law, and if u trust her enough to keep the secret, or if u would rather not let anyone know. Perhaps take a vacation and tell them you want to give birth outside the country.
just do whats right by u nd ur wife. every other person is secondary.
@perculiar. pls run a blood pt or hpt to be sure you are not pregnant before taking any medications. the flow may be because of implatation. fertility blessings to u

Tough question. I think one of them can come to teach her how to bathe and take care of the new baby. Taking care of a new baby is usually tough esp for a new mum. So omugwo is still in order. My auntie did for her daughter 2 adopted kids.

Since 2009 my period has been irregular. And most times when I go for test it shows infection.. Hmmm av been treating this infection year in year out.. But during those times av been pregnant. Until 2011, I used drug to see my period it did came. Also that same year I used clomid, then I got preg but had missed abortion. So I had to evacuate it. Since then till now my period same tin no flow... Sisters now am in am in need of it . I don't menstraute talk more of ovulating.. Just started combination3 (days ago. The doc said I should come wen I see my MP. Then we start treatment on it.. Pls am on the right track? My husband travelled BT will be back August or sept... Pls and we need this badly... i think you should chill and take a very long break from all antibiotics. antibiotics are enough to mess up your menstral cycle/fertility.

then again, i am always veryyyyyy skeptical with diagonistic labs in nigeria. all they see are 'infections'. the truth is there will always be micro-organisms as well as good and bad bateria in one's vjay. some of them dont even know what they are doing/what they are looking for. if you are having recurrent infections for so many years, if you had seen a good doctor, you should have been given drugs to that will tackle the infection either via drugs or intravenous injection and also testing your hubby and treating him if need be so as to stop the circle of infection.

Pls I am 33 and my wife is 32, we tied the knot 2years ago and decided not to rush the pregnancy issue.

Now we started this January and have not succeeded. We bought some test kits to track the ovulation and have been using it since march.

My Job schedule doesn't help cos I work 35 days in naija and 35 day outside the country.
So I practically have one ovulation cycle in 2 months and that doesn't increase my odds.

I am partially worried everytime my wife sees her period. I can't stop thinking if there is anything wrong. I know its God that gives.
Just that I can't wait to bump in her...

Is there anything we are not doing right?

your work pattern is a bit similiar to that of my hubby. athough, his own work pattern is shorter. more of 2-3 weeks in, 2 weeks out. yet we conceived immediately to the Glory of God when we were both ready. Conception would require planning/timing as a result of your work schedule since you are now TTC and your wife has to study her cycle very well and know her ovulation days and ensure both of you babydance very well shortly before she ovulates.

if you are in the country say 24-48hours after she ovulates and you do all the baby dancing, she might not conceive as the egg might have died by then. the male sperm lives longer - up to 7days. so if you do the needful say 3days before she ovulates and then you are out of the country, there's a high chance she will conceive as there is sperm (millions of them yet it only takes one to do the needful) patiently waiting for the egg to drop and GBAM - fertilization occurs. also with your work schedule, you might get home tired and jetlagged and too tired to baby dance- not knowing that you are missing her fertile period- however, if you fully informed of her fertile days, you will babydance whether you are tired or not

if i had not planned my holiday and hubby's holiday schedule around the period i was close to ovulating and consciously babydanced like kilode , i might not have gotten pregnant because he was actually away by the time i ovulated. its good to be informed - i could have ended up fretting (not that DH would have given a damn anyway as he wanted a one year wait post marriage ) not knowing that we were baby dancing at the wrong time of the month.

please read through my pervious posts - especially the initial 2-4 posts i made on this thread. i detailed everything i did in preparation for conception.

now to my story,mamas join me thank the almighty God who did not allow me to be put to shame in this marriage ,after 5yrs of TTC with pcos,fibroid,thyroid issues,recently treated blocked tubes,recurrent infection, I finally got my BFP.
