It is possible some of the people who burnt the vehicles are members of the gang who disguised as ordinary people to ensure no trace whatsoever is left behind. Obviously, the robbers knew they will not be able to set the vehicles ablaze as time will be against them, so they may have delegated that assignment to the Team B.
