I have a bunch of files which I want to overwrite. I am using GoDaddy and I want to know if I can upload all those files at once or must I upload them one by one.
If I can upload the files all at once, please tell me how.

Use an archiver like winzip or winrar and package the whole files into one file/archive
Upload the file/archive just like you upload the other files into your Cpanel file manager.
On the file manager, when you click on that archive. There's a button somewhere on that dashboard that says ' extract '. Click it and follow the prompts

Once you are logged into your hosting control panel, locate the FileManager tool.

You’d be transferred to the root server directory, called public_html or www.

In case you are willing to upload your files to any sub-directory, just use the navigation tree on the left side to locate the needed folder.

Use the ‘Upload’ button to upload your files.

*Note, your files should be zipped before uploading. zip using winrar

The file has been uploaded. Now you can unarchive (unzip) it, using the ‘extract’ option, built in your Hosting Control Panel.

All the files have been successfully extracted.

You just saved me from uploading 640 files one by one. Pheew!

Then for someone else who might need this kind of help and does not know about FTP clients.

Please download Filezilla or any other FTP clients.
They will help you upload files, folders to your server the same way you transfer files across directories within your computer.

1. Open the folder containing the files on your computer.
2. Select all the files and folder in view (Ctrl + A), Without clicking elsewhere - Right-click on one of the selected files, on the drop-down options, Click "Send to", "Compressed".
3. You can rename the newly created Zipped folder.
4. Open the File Manager location in your cPanel and upload it.
5. When Uploaded, click the Zipped Folder once, Click "Extract" from the options on the top right.

it's simple simply zip the file before upload then after upload unzip it to the folder you want it to be

use filezilla client to connect to your webhost and transfer files fast. theres a video tutorial here on how to do it

I think you should make use of multiple browsers. This way, you can upload more than two files at the same time. Chrome, Explorer, Mozilla, Opera, Safari and UC browser.
sometimes, zipping dont usually work.

The best solution that works is to compress the file to a zip format (e.g. yourfilename.zip) and upload via ftp client using the ftp details given to you. once uploaded to the right directory unzip it the content and have fun!

to log into to cpanel is simple.

If you had an FTP client, why ZIP again...?!!
