My take on this is that those agitating for Biafra should leave the men of God out of this, as they have nothing to do with such activity. Even if Biafra become another country today, the men of God from other countries will still come to win souls in Biafra land; as they are interested in souls and not Country. I know they don't really mean to hate those men of God, but, because they are Yoruba they are now transferring aggression to them. But that may cause serious distraction and if they continue in any way to attack Christian Men of God, then they will kill themselves from inside as Biafra is already Saturated with Christians. IPOB cannot do anything without Christians in Biafra land. |

These could be one of the cynical ploy the US and others are using to polarise nigeria and the entire Africa so that their suprimacy in the world may be strenghten. My fellow Nigerians they have done this to Libya, Irac and others. The continous unity of Nigeria is a threat to world power and the world is ready to penetrate nigeria through whatever means. Countries of the world hardly advances if the tinest minority is not given a sense of belonging. Until we continue to see our neighbour from another region as our priority in the discharge of our duty, we are not ready to welcome the nigeria that the world will envy. |

discusant:The Fulani and other tribes along the northern parts of Nigeria are Semitic in ancestry, so technically the author is correct although not intended. Anti-semitic has come to be used to describe the hate speech and propaganda which uses myth and false doctrine to castigate a tribe or ethnic group |

My guy let's stop lying to ourselves. The only country who wants Nigeria to remain as it is, is Britain, because of how they are sucking us dry. |

amany007:Breaking Nigeria up means saving Christians in the South of Nigeria the unending agony of expansionist Islam from the Sahel reagion via northern Nigeria. Already, 12, northern states had adopted use of sharia criminal justice system that includes stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off hands of petty thieves, etc. Boko Haram aims to extend this sharia criminal justice system to all the parts of Nigeria. But such justice system is unthinkable in the south, especially, in the former southeast region of Nigeria. Those people from the south who object to Biafra leaving Nigeria are most uninformed. |

Ozichim:Religion to very large extent is the problem with nigeria and even the world at large In the case of nigeria, look at what boko boys are doing in the name of Allah. For the Christians, a lot of fake pastors exist and they are very insensitive to ordinary people. Always romancing with politicians and talking about tithe tithe tithe, sowing seed, watering seed, ... Fela Kuti sang a lot about religion to... Suffer suffer for world... |

discusant:Using false information and scare tactics would not work, can you confirm that sharia is adopted outside of marriage resolution, family issues and will . It is clearly stated in the constitution and legal code what the limitations of sharia are. Some small hamlets are adopting sharia beyond what it should and the state attorney general has a job of correcting that. |

the truth is hard to swallow.... the way this country is going....it wont work out well and it can never work out well...if still those stupid people on top are turning blind eyes to the countries problem and refuse to tackle the most pressing need in the country....instead...they go about looting....and destroying the country...these whole mess has to stop... if the country is this so big that they cant control every resources we have as a country ..they cant solve even electricity problem as big and as rich nigeria is...then am afraid this country has to shared into two....cos..the looting of funds...the corruption...the ethnicity problem...the discriminations... the hatred on one tribe and another....the quest for power and who occupies d top positions is really killing this country... until those so called GOD father like the ones u and i knows..until they are eliminated...this country can never stand....and mind u...they cant be eliminated...cos they already have a deeper root into the country....that they just cant stay without controlling and deciding what happens in dis country...until dey are flushed away...this country will not have peace....but since we cant wait for them to be flushed away cos it seems they are there forever...THEN WE SHALL STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT... if things will be better when the country is parted..THEN...LET BIAFRA COME...!!! i am not an igbo man oo...i still say it....but this country's wealth is been channeled into just one direction...one set of people....and of which it has to stop!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.... |

Please for those against Igbos breaking out of the unfavorable union Nigeria answer the following question. 1, If you want to die because the Igbos want to secede away, kindly tell us your reason? 2, Please tell us what sin somebody have committed in breaking away from a union created by Lord Luggard? 3, I’m wondering where the desire to be free for self determination is condemned in the Bible, pls. can you show us where. 4, From your own point of view, why do you think the Biafra must remain in Nigeria even though they have virtually nothing in common with Hausas and Yorubas. 5, Do you think the Country cannot stand without the Igbos and why? 6, Do you think it is wrong for the Igbos to govern themselves and why? Pls. if you cannot answer those questions sincerely there is no bases for your been angry wth the Biafrans. |

sweetgala:You peole that are against Biafra make me laugh. You people think the Biafran struggle is about Kanu? No it is not about Kanu same as it was not about Ojukwu. It is about the desire of a group of people to be free from Nigeria. Why is it hard for people to understand that it is not by force to be a Nigerian? Unfortunately, the only language the Nigerian Government understands is violence. A war of freedom is coming and it doesn't matter if Kanu is arrested or killed, that war will still come unless a referendum is given to the SSE/SS PEOPLE to allow those who want to secede to do so and allow those who want stay with Nigeria to carry on. Referendum or War! We cannot carry on with this "white mans invention" called Nigeria and expect everything to be ok. |

sweetgala:Anti-semitic is described by all the dictionaries I have consulted so far as hostility towards Jewish people. You know people who are against self-determination, including those against Biafra, are usually fraudulent people, most of whom believe they can't survive without crude oil. So these people wouldn't mind manufacturing a new meaning for anti-semitic. |
