I went through the same thing. the rashes were horrible, she was always scratching and her hair was cutting and not growing. its only now after the agbo treatment and changing her milk that its growing now. please read my mail at the top of the previous page.

Doc told me the whole illness in creche thing actually builds their immunity. It's inevitable. But you get the advantage when your 12yr old kid can easily shake off cough or cold, while Iya Musu's son has to take the entire week off school.

Of course...the few times it's cold, you can easily warm up water or take water drom the flask. But with naija heat....if it's still the same as I remember....from the tap sef the water go dey hot lol

its d premium pampers i tried, i ve used huggies frm day one till she turns 1yr, it leaks most times, mayb i no dey sabi do d thing well sha lol or probably have bn buying d wrong size.

lol. I had to stop wipes totally when nappy rash didn't allow us to rest even after changing from one brand to several others. I now use water jejely. As for diapers, I still prefer huggies, Nigeria Pampers is BS, Pampers Premium is on the same level with huggies. I only use Nigerian Pampers when I go out and forget to take diapers along. It's safer than most.

@nggie, I believe the palm kernel oil will clear it, just be patient.

Of course you wont open your eye and put your child in a dirty creche to build immunity lol.....but children catching illnesses from Creche is inevitable. The doc just told me to brace up for the next 6months at least....but it will ease up after then. And the older your baby is, the more chances he has of catching something.

huggies wipes is very very gud, it was because i couldnt get to buy dat day n i decided to try Dr Brown dat messed up her bum, for gud two months was battling wit very thick rash( i dey vex) loll, tnx to all mamas here who introduced baby tribotan,it works wonders.

@bossladyMo and other able mums that replied me on teething issues,i will try and get the teething ring and wait because my baby hasnt started teething,am just scared of the pains and discomfort i do hear about it. But if it comes with pains,i will get the drug. I appreciate.

Seriously what's the big deal in washing thr bum with tap water. I only use warm water on my boy wen d weather is cold. Babies only get used to what they are exposed to. I Av a niece, if she bath with room temperature water she'll catch a cold, her bath water have to b hot, this is cos of how she's raised. Its nt as if u r bathing d baby with cold water...its just d bum and only when they poop.

Gerber vs Heinz vs Cow n Gate cereal and baby food ,,, which would u choose?

Cancerlib , i have tried all three and presently, my lo who wl be five months soon is taking all three cereals. i give her one cow n gate or heinz food(those ones inside a short round bottle) to take to the creche while i also put either of the cereals in her bag too. i bought a mix of all three but the only thing i have notcied is that heinz and cow and gate cereal are sweeter than gerber cereal hence they do not need as much milk as gerber, infact if u dont add milk self,its gud to go provided your LO isnt choosy. il send you a pics of the various types i have wen i get home.

Am pretty sure if u c sm pure water factory u wnt dare. Pure water is far from pure lol, its just chemically treated water. Even if it's pure its still advisable to gv them boiled water till a year old
