i wil advise u get cusson or avent baby soap..

Pls I need a suggestion of a good body cream and soap for my 7months old baby boy; pls its shd b based on EXPERIENCE. Av tried oilatum, johnson, ori, skineal, funbact A, antago cream. Although(kima paro) I fit use a cream for 3/4 days and if no changes I go switch to another cream. Prensently my LO has alefo(impetigo) and rashes on his body. Eela is even on his neck(wonder what causes ds), infact him body no smooth @al. If he has a smooth body ds week d following week, alefo or rashe go com, although I discover dt anytime he wear cloth to slp dts wen d alefo/rashe com bt wen I leave him to sleep wt only diaper, he wld av cof n cattarh. There was a time I used only powder bt his skin was jus peeling off, not smooth @al. Av tried johnson, agnesia, pricky heat bt presently I'm using rising baby powder. As for d soap I use cusson because I feel that's d only soap I know for babies. Sometimes, my baby used to lick soap wen baffin or it entas his eyes*first time mom*
...I started robbing sudocreme n his body ds morning cos I felt dt since sudocreme has been effective for diaper rash so I tot it shd work for all rashes*confused*.

Well...I gave them the Rotavirus vaccine. However, the Rotavirus illness is common in children above 1, not younger....and that's because children above 1 already relate with other kids, eat more adult food, eat at parties etc. So I dont think it's the rotavirus vaccine that helped them...my bestie's kids also didn't have issues with teething....and they didnt take the rotavirus vaccine.

Can we stop this giving of little kids pure water thing. I attribute it to Laziness...yes Laziness! How hard can it be to boil water, let it settle, and store in a flask or bottles for your kid....haba!!!! Is it until you sleep in the hospital because of typhoid or cholera that you will realise the error of your ways?

Pure water sha? 7mth old baby? 7month old baby that should still be using sterilised or hot water washed bottles? Diarias God oooo!

And the annoying thing is most of the drugs that cure water-borne diseases are not fit for use in younger kids. The doctors only do a risk-benefit analysis before giving them.

Even a new graduate doctor knows that a sensitivity test has to be done in cases like this, so as to get the right treatment. I remember the doctor gave me Zinnat. The first one didnt work cos I didnt store the antibiotic properly....I was given another, and it worked.

When you get to the hospital....tell them you want them to do an ear swab. What you sescribed is not as serious as seeing an eNT yet. Referral to a specialist is only done after the appropriate medications have been given.

Also, store the antibiotic you are given in a fridge, and give the adequate dosage.

Use cotton bud dipped in a little vaseline to block the ears when bathing.

Did you get the pneumococcal vaccine? My son had it at 2 weeks as I said, and all the info on the internet pointed towards him having recurring issues because his started so young. But that was the only time he had it....and I feel it might be because he got the full dose of the vaccine.

Yea, Sebamed works for my baby . He's been using it since he was 2 months old or thereabout. Since then, there has been nothing like rash, alefo, or what have u. Even pple envy my son oo. They said he has a fine skin from birth. No skin problem. dem no know the secret. Though he no easy to cough out the 5k wey i take buy am(big and economy size). After 6months, it's as if ive not touched it. e still plenty for inside. To tell u how economical it is. Anyways, they deserve the best sha. Mind u, there is one from germany and one fron Dubai. Arabic is written on the one from Dubai. Don't buy that one. Buy the one from Germany and from a good and trusted store.

I noticed that my lo is showing some sign of teething like chewing his mouth as if there's some solid food in his mouth & someties dipping his hands in his mouth to rub his gum. Isn't it too early or is any one else experiencing this?

My DS does the same, and he is 2months too, all this while, I av been thinking he only dips his finger in his mouth cos he is trying tto suck his finger. I ddontt think it has to do wt teething, cos that will be ttooo too early now. That's my tot anyway. Experienced mamas can tell us which is which.

Agood creche doesnt collect babies less than 3months but i will share my experience in my case i had to resume when my baby was 2months + and nobody was with me,no mil or family member.had to beg the owner of the daycare and very lucky that the daycare is opposite my house and she accepted and that is still where my dd attends even though she is ayear+ now.
You have an option of a cousin staying with you.if u can get a good nanny wit ur cousin at home or look for a good creche near ur office so u can check on them.God keep ur twins and help u in Nursing them.kpele luv.

People will always have things to say. As long as it's used on my baby - it's never a waste. Just ensure the nannies are trained. Av learnt a lot about nannies and creche since my LO started, right now my friends are withdrawing their lo's from their creche to enrol in my baby's creche. At first, they complained that my baby's creche was too expensive and they took their lo's to a less expensive creche, after 2 weeks they were spending money in hospitals treating one viral ailment to the other. Nothing is a waste for my daughter. After all am working for her, so she should have the best while I can have my mind at rest and concentrate on the work.

I av another question for d sabi mamas again o. My LO(7mts old) has refused his frisogold for abt 3days now, he wants only breast wch is no more sufficient for him. Meanwhile my milk supply sef don low. I cooked beans(peeled) and crayfish for him as bfast ysday and he took just 5 pinch(chai, e pain me say for my wahala na small my LO eat out of d food) then I gave him titus fish as dinner, na small he ate too. Pls I need more suggestions on d kind of foods or formula I can giv him. Meanwhile, I gav him pap(with blended dry fish) last weekend bt afta 4day na diarrhea follow. Honestly, its painful seeing my LO soo bony now bt he's very active.....really wish he could talk and tell me wot he really wants* I fit run sha if he try am*

Johnson wipes was the last one I used before switching to water, I still have some new ones at home till now, I refuse to use them. I've not used the baby dry diaper before, when I tried buying drylove, I couldn't get size 4 in Festac.

i use johnson soap for my son and he hasnt had rashes. He s more dan 16months nw, and still using it. Ensure u dont overcover ur babies. Mothers, if ur baby s sweating, its a sign dat he s hot, reduce d too much clothing. They re humans too o.
