@dorothy111. It will be a priviledge to brief on the efforts so far about IPOB. You see how you believed Billie Human Rights to be IPOB. Dozie Ikedife broke away to go form IPOB Supreme Council when he failed to get Nnamdi Kalu into Nigerian Politics, Dozie was the same person that brought Rochas Okorocha into IPOB and they were all kicked out. Whenever u get urself with any Nigeria politician, u will definitely lose focus. That everyone is talking Biafra today is because of Nnamdi Kalu, IPOB and Radio Biafra, not Dozie Ikedife, IPOB Supreme Council and Biafra Voice International. If u need people to lie to u about U.N and A.U meetings, go and meet with MASSOB and Billie Human Rights, they are the ones playing politics with the whole struggle. But we know who is who. |

zuchyblink:We have already drawn the map of your new country because you are too slow. Your new country will be Imo Anambra and Enugu with about half of Abia (the other half will go to the Akamkpas) and 10-30% of EBONYI (the rest going to the Igalas) we are just waiting for a referendum to be sure that is the will of the majority |

Some folks my think my comment offensive but its what I think is the truth... Most Igbos calling for Biafra on the bases of discrimination and underdevelopment have what I'd term a "lack of social awareness, with a touch of low self esteem". when we consider the workings of this country we can keenly note that majority of the problems of the states are caused by the states and their POOR local leadership, whether in the North, South or whatever. But one factor that differentiates the various regions is the Northerners don't bother complaining (they just accept it as an act of God), the South Westerners blame their state government and demand accountability, while the Easterners blame Nigeria. Where your state has failed in its duties please hold them accountable, and where the Federal government has failed, hold them accountable, and don't mumble everything up and blame the entire country for the problems encountered. The South Westerners have managed to evolved in their democratic dispensation and know how to wiggle through the politics to get their desires met. I mean what is wrong with Igbo politicians mingling with other politician and making deals fot the betterment of the region. My BIGGEST regret for the East is the loss of Dora Akunyeli (pardon my spelling). God rest Her soul. Many easterners like to speak of the conspiracy by the Hausas and Yorubas to control federal power but they fail to answer this question...How many Credible candidates of Eastern descent have ran for President? How many candidates can the Igbos truly unite for? As a result of the victim mentality and self ostracization they forget there are states that probably share their sentiments and can parley with to drive home their interests. The mare mention of states like Benue, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, and Jos the minds of most Easterners (and also South-South, and South-West folks) automatically think HAUSA. The listed states represent the so-called North Central... and are not Hausas, they are people with distinct cultures like others in Nigeria. I have not and would not blame country for a state problem, all Nigerians need to learn this and not just the Igbos alone. The reason the Hausas have made it so well on the federal scene is because they have done their homework and maintain a uniformed font as regards regional interests. My advice is "CLEAN UP YOUR HOUSE" and the rest would fall into place. so you know I WOULD HAVE STAYED UNDER THE RAIN AND SUN TO HAVE A CONSCIOUS/RESPONSIBLE PERSON AS DORA TO BE PRESIDENT. ETHNICITY BE DAMNED!!! |

The writer is full of beautiful words. But it it would have been more sensible if all these decades of impunity in Nigeria by criminals calling themselves politicians is addressed with much vehemence and brutality as it deserves. Nigeria is a country amalgamated fraudulently and that is why it can never stand. General T.Y. Danguma blatantly said it in 2012 that Nigeria is turning into Somalia. The biggest enemy of Nigeria is TRUTH. Every time you hear about billions of dollars being stolen and there is no prosecution. Nigeria is the only place I see that few people owns everybody and you can not do something about it. I want to tell everybody and particularly the writer of this article that you never know the reality. Nigeria is falling and it is happening. People travel out and see other places well built but in their homeland despite the blessings of natural resources which God has given Nigeria, ordinary person cannot enjoy simple things as constant electricity, running water etc. in this 21st century. In short let these truth haters be aware that the population is now very angry and are ready to die in order to put a stop to this impunity. The best thing you should do as a human being is to take your time and listen to this Radio Biafra and be honest with yourself whether what this young man is preaching is TRUTH or not. How can you be in a country where almost all the natural resources come from your place but the federal government has been systematically annihilating and erasing big investments from that side? You can fool some people for some time but you cannot cheat all the people all the time. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. This petting all the time that Nigeria is one is all but a farce. Let us face the reality and let the nations in that zoo go their separate ways so that they can develop in their own ways otherwise, in the next one thousand years Nigeria will still be in more mess than now. Let us reason. |
