There is hope,if its a general problem and not limited to West Africa only and I was told the problem started when peeps started discusing how to get it with 90cm dish only,dat could also be d problem!

Irib tv3 & varzesh are gone and gone forever in Arabsat.You can still get it in intelsat 902 @ 62.0' east, this time on a ku-band platform with 2.4m dish.

irib is off in all sat, not only on arabsat. I guess technical problem.let's wait.
