Very clumsy reason. . You can't run this country like a primitive sole administrator. Just stste the standards you want as it regards your ministerial appointments and go for mainly technocrats. Fire those who come short of these sandards whenever you find out in deu course. Lead by example by stoping your dirty romance with the very corrupt, some of them our best friends/benefactors. . Stop hobnobing with the likes of danjuma. . That should be the way to start. Stop bamboozling us with these endless talk aboutt a coming mega fight against corruption. Action not talks
Says who? Well watch him as he does it and still achieving results. PMB...i and my good people of IKA clan are solidly behind you. "ijen-ewere"

What people do not know is that ministers are just figurehead in the ministry, they cannot sign cheque. I believe PMB is comfortable working permanent secretary, they are the technocrats

SALARY AND ALLOWANCE ARE WASTE OF PUBLIC FUND.

Without Ministers Nigeria will save atleast 2billion Naira a year as salary and allowance. we should just allow d permanent secretaries and Director of Ministries to Function.

I have a feeling PMB likes to be the only one running the show and prefers authoritarian style of govt. However, it is still stipulated by the constitution that he appoints a Fed. Executive commitee ie Ministers.
It is still unconstitutional to do otherwise IMO.

While this is a good move from PMB, He should understand that Nobody is prefect, Now in this critical movement, everyone eyeing the post will engage in eyeservice and hypocrisy,Like they can't hurt a fly, just to win his heart. Now i'll rather someone who can deliver the job 100% efficiently and siphone a little, than a honnest dullard who wouldn't steal. I ain't saying he should employ thieves, all i'm saying is that he shouldn't put honesty first before delivery rather delivery before honesty. well this is still a very very good one.
In due season Nigeria will appreciate you.

Good. I will even prefer if the appointment is kept on hold for about a year for the purpose of experimentation and the need to save cost.

Most of the posters on this forum lack the moral right to speak or write against corrupt politicians because they are potentially worse than those being condemned judging by the indecorous and uncultured opinions they project.

But Buhari promised to name his cabinet within a week of inauguration...

http://dailypost.ng/2015/04/15/buhari-to-announce-his-ministers-one-week-after-may-29-inauguration/

Nigeria’s incoming President, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), yesterday disclosed that his cabinet would be announced very quickly within one week of inauguration; and that “Anyone with a whiff of corruption or any kind of taint will not be in the cabinet. Our manifesto will reflect zero tolerance for corruption”.

ministers are not very important. They are over rated. D head of different ministries and permanent secretaries by default function as ministers. i dont know what d shout over ministers are for.

It is politicians who are making noise because they are losing money from salary and allowance they would hv received as ministers.
my thought as well

A dictator is always dictating, buhari just want to keep all by himself, we know he is not a saint and should stop claiming one. At the end it will still be like it used to be, Atiku is his erant boy i see no change yet, but i pray the change comes even if a soldier will take over and sanize the system in upper and rower house of assemblies, the house is filled with criminals, our police is bad, the millitry is corrupt, we just need revolution.

only politicians profit from ministeral posts. If appointing ministeral posts would form a stumbling block to his fight against corruption, then so be it. Ministeral pots can wait till the purge is cleared. Just no say, i am feeling the presidents approach. No one never knew this approach b4 now, but somehow at his age he is getting results. Kudos to Baba. Abeg carry on.
