Buhari Not A Miracle Worker, It’s Too Early For Nigerians To Complain – Adesina by midolian(op): 11:15am On Jun 28, 2015
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has stated that it was too early for Nigerians to begin to attack the President.

He said they should not expect any miracle from the president after just thirty days of assuming power.

The presidential spokesman also described the dissolution of NNPC board by Buhari as the beginning of the cleansing of the rot in the oil sector.

In an interview with SaharaTV, which was monitored by DAILY POST on Saturday, the former Sun MD stated that, “it is within the President’s right to fire the board members of NNPC. That is just the beginning of the house cleansing he wants to do to clear the rot in the oil sector.”

He urged the public to understand that “Nigerians gave President Buhari a mandate to rule for four years, so they should not complain in less than thirty days.” Mr. Adesina then added that President Buhari is not “a miracle worker.”

When asked about the transparency of President Buhari’s administration, Adesina said that the President “has taken the first step to fixing the oil sector. When you take a first step, you take others. Since that step wasn’t taken in secrecy, others will not be taken in secrecy.”

Adesina confirmed that none of the planes in the presidential fleet had been sold yet, but that “one thing we can be sure of is when those planes are sold, if they are being sold, it’s not going to be something that is done under the table or in secrecy. Everyone will know. If he has a plan to do it, it will be announced that he is going to do it.”

30 days into a new government, no Cabinet, No SGF, Principal federal functions still comatose , not a single intelligent policy made.... But we now have a PGF (Photographer to the Government of the Federation) undecided and a Presidential Helipad in Daura undecided.... Our President is at a total loss as to how to properly commence delivering his election promises, but He knows how to appoint a Presidential photographer, build a helipad in his village, and then retain the same Presidential jets which he and his party so particularly denounced as "gross economic wastage" angry

Rogue ex-Governors submit themselves to EFCC and walk out smiling the same day, the ban on importation of textiles is lifted thereby stifling local textile industries, Military checkpoints are idiotically removed and restored the next day ( policy somersault), and no single national address by our dullard President as to the current state of the nationundecided ... Instead the Public is fed with whatever bullshiit any of his multiple spokesmen can come up with after having his dicck sucked by his Abuja mistress angry

Nigeria is currently on defective autopilot and this Mr Adèshina is telling us that it's too early for us to worry that the plane might crash undecided

This is no excuse. Y'all just need to calm down. You don't judge the outcome of a match by the first 5mins.

ECOTERRORS:
He should resign then, he has ruled for close to a month and the onlY contract being done is the constrution of helipad in Daura

We are not saying he should perform miracles but at least he should try and "shake body". His inert posture is crippling the nation.

Folks like me did not expect the President to wrought miracles, but his laid-back approach and taciturn disposition toward issues of national importance did not inspire any confidence so far.
