Some Nigerians are so pathetic dat dey can't think for themselves. They always want to kno wats next. Dey will never appreciate what's happening now. Can't you see that Baba has started working? Are u blind or wat. Ministers dis ministers dat. Government can be run smoothly without ministers. Ministers are just politicians who just love being called ministers. Other than dat, dey are so inconsequential. I just shake my head seeing some posts by even APC faithfuls. To them even if fashola and others work wit Buhari, as long as they are nt ministers, Buhari is nt working. Even if u av ministers eventually you will anticipate dia asset declaration. If they don't do dat on time, u will still say Buhari is nt fighting corruption. Mehn it sucks to be in ur shoes. Ungrateful Nigerians who only want d downfall of others.

I trust Buhari. He will definitely deliver.

Let us give Mr. President time to investigate the exercise of the authorities and responsibilities of NNPC, CBN, the management of the economy and the Ministry of Finance. He should investigate all the Funds and their distribution and control that pass through these agencies. He should cover the period from OBJ's presidency to date.

All the arms of government in the last dispensation were all rotten and if we truly want the change so fast and so badly, we need to start with ourselves by having a compound voice to reject what we don't want. We all fought relentlessly during the last election to ensure GEJ was booted away from Aso Rock using our social media as engine room and e-voices, why can't we do the same to keep speaking our minds aloud till it's heard. Don't tell me you haven't experienced a little change in your supply of electricity in your neighborhood compared unto what we had in April and early May. A house built on weak and messy foundation will crumble in no time. Let's watch Baba in 3D. Good morning.

my bro on the supply of electricity, i still dat it was northern cabal in support of some powerful politicians dat frustrated GEJ 2 make sure nothing works under his watch. how can someone tell in less than 2 months of being swore in, suddenly power has improved, some is very fishy here.

While one is ready to take up arms against the govt for not appointing ministers, when one remembers the handover docs weren't exchanged till 28th of May, all fight & IGG just fizzles away..

The constitution says appoint ministers but the national disaster called PDP's molestation of the economy was never envisaged so its difficult to judge..

Its better to be slow &steady & get the Job done than to be a bumbling impatient f0ol & make further mess of an already precarious situation.. Well meaning Nigerians will wait, its only the ones waiting for the govt to err so they can go "he is a du*****d"(which he isn't) that are overly concerned.

Perm secs though can do the job, the one in the Fed Min of health needs the closest of markings. He can remove your pants while you believe you are still wearing them .

He was transferred after some actions but he worked his way back in & taught the former minister how to clean house.. He is a real proffessional!!

wike had no handova note but he has appointed all d appointables, Buhari is simple dull and confuse...

Your view but I disagree though... and you wonder why we seek ministers with experience in certain organisations. Perm secs are administrative posts, they run the ministry, push the papers and carry out the last instructions. Ministers bring the policy drive of any government into play or else the day to day activities of the ministry remain in safe auto-pilot mode
... just my view though
My view of a technocrat is someone that has the know how and intricate details eg a computer guru in technology ministry, an innovative renowned engineer in works etc... just like steve jobs in apple and how he ran the company

Honestly, I don't see any reason for the agitation in the appointment of Ministers. Just appoint a secretary to the government of the federation, a chief of staff an NSA and other needed special advicers/assistants. What really is the job of a minister if not just to ensure the different ministries work in tandem with the aims of a government in power. If such aims can be met, I see no reason for a rush in ministerial appointments. Right now, those ministries are headed by permanent secretaries who are technocrats grounded in d running of these various ministries and would do much better in d saddle(They've spent most of their career in these ministries). Moreover, no ministers till September will help cut costs in a way(Salaries and other entitlements for these two months can be used for something better). To me, Ministerial appointments are just done to reward loyal party men and give every state a feeling of being involved in the Nation's governance. Baba, as far as those permanent secretaries are doing d job well, abeg wait till December or even next year. NO NEED TO RUSH

well said brother, those PS are capable if given neccessary support and enabling evironment to work. minister will make most ps redundant nd ineffective.

This is the problem with some Nigerians, short memory! President Buhari has contested the office of the president four times, I personally believe he had seen these decay, paralysis, and allwhotnot in our country. His campaign promises depicts that he was well aware of the situation and therefore we voted for the change. Although, it is too early to call for his head, but the slowness to appoint principal officers and get the government running leaves nothing to be admired. Then coming up with excuses of patience is totally unacceptable... Change we voted for, Change we desire....

Can someone help me tell Buhari that we are in democracy and not military regime. Help me tell him that the new place he finds himself is Aso Rock Villa, and not Dordan Barracks, where he wears jackboot and supports himself with gun to dish out command. This is leadership by consensus. Does he want to rule as a Dictator for one year before forming a democratic government? Nigerians are funny people. If this were to be Jonathan...? Hmmm! There could have been impeachment notice. Those who clamoured for, and voted for CHANGE are fast losing their patience. Jonathan must be laughing in Otuoke language by now. The only thing Nigerians keep hearing is complain from Mr. President, the same complain about empty treasury that made Nigerians vote for him. He keep repeating that without taking his seat to work. I heard that he's building a private airport in Daura where his private jet will be landing when many Nigerian workers have not been paid salaries for some months running. The only consolation Nigerians are receiving is the promise of a vague probe, when millions of probed reports are parking dusts in their respective counters. NNPC board has just been dissolved, some papers carried it that only northerners are qualified to head it back to back so that they can suck crude oil to their satisfaction. That is where their interests lie! NEPA is still not stable, and prepaid meters are not distributed. Federal workers are yet to receive their June salary! Our honourables in the National Assembly are still being selfish, may be the promised change will come after this regime!!! God help Nigeria!!!!!
