From the way i understand this BVN exercise, i don' think there is a deadline in the sense that you can't enroll after the 30th.
I believe after then, your account just goes inactive, and you can enroll and reactivate it at any time.

I called GTB some days ago, and that's pretty much what the lady told me.
Since many don't live in Naija, i doubt they would have expected us to jump on a plane to Naija, for some BVN thing.

So, for those who don't use their accounts often, i don't think there is a need to panic (I could be wrong though ).

This period when armed robbers have resumed operations,it is very risky to hang around banks. Can't Nigerians do something right? Make it a continious thing where people would just do it whenever they make their next visit to their banks.

The one remaining is NIN. Chei! The long queue at secretariat by 6:30am is scary.



#I think/know they will extend the deadline but now you will have to endure long standing and stress.

I am yet to understand why people have to wait till last hour. Are they expected to be the only person in bank?

Nigerians like fire brigade approach to issues like this. When I did this same bvn registration last year November at Asaba, it took me less than 30 minutes to do it. I was treated fine and we were just 3 that did it that evening.
