I beg to strongly disagree with the rumour about Wali being a pdp man because if he was there would had been public outcry about it.

Can you truthfully say among the two appointments which has generated public condemnation more? This matter is very fresh in our minds.

You just posited that the sitting President must appoint someone who is sympathetic to his party and that why should pdp cry foul when Buhari is doing just that. I now asked you to prove or even suggest if Jega was ever linked to any party but yet he was appointed by GEJ.

Can you also prove that Amina Zakari has any link to APC, other than the lousy Oliseh Metuh suggesting so? On the other hand, there is clear evidence that Ahmed Wali is a brother to the guber candidate of PDP in Sokoto, from the last election. That clearly means he could be compromised.

He is not a registered member of any party and should have been given the chance to do what is rightly his job.

I just don't get what all this fuss is about. Jega is a good administrator, no doubt, but is it within his power to appoint an INEC Chairman, albeit acting? Yes, the Presidency should probably have chosen their anointed successor to Jega before June 30. But then, did Jega consult the Presidency before crowning Wali? More questions than answers. He is a brother to the PDP guber candidate of Sokoto, so you have no argument there. Also, the only people crying foul are pdp, because they would have preferred Wali, for Obvious reasons.

Both Zakari and Wali are associated to one political party or the other. Zakari I heard her tenure will end by July 31st. We don't need another acting chairman by then, rather a chairman that will be there to conduct 2019 elections. He better start now and be looking for a substantive chairman, not when this one retires and he starts delaying, people will start defending him by asking "what do we need an INEC Chairman for when one can act in that capacity"

By constitution d tenure of INEC chairman can be renewed if d president so wishes.so dnt bother abt that bro

Someone must be related to somebody! My argument is very simple Buhari is a symbol of integrity and honesty, if GEJ can give us Jega who did very well what stops Buhari from giving us a better Jega? What is this change about? My brother, Nigeria must get it perfect with Buhari.

I was thinking it's just the wailing wailers problem until I watched channels this morning and I heard a lecturer from unilag hold my point of view in a broader way and I cannot help but agree even if i'm the only one to hold such opinion that Buhari with his experience and integrity did not mean well for INEC.

If there any Nigerian, apart from under age and others who would not want the truth throught out their live, who does know that Buhari's rejection clearly show that some thing has happened is not a fair person. The way this dullest and dunce turned down Wali is very clear. But he should know that pdp will also rejected that woman's appointment since due process was not followed.
If you a pdp member, a friend of pdp etc., should play your politics the way apc played it when GEJ was in power. Pdp should work very hard to disorganise Buhari. Ensure that Buhari does not go to bed with all his two eye closed. No apc member, especially Buhari should be allowed a breathing space because that was what they did to GEJ. It is not enough to say due process was not followed and go back and relax . Take him to courts, proved it. Buhari is just like any other Nigerian except that he is a Fulaniman and an exremist who can comfortable reach out to people who can commit suicide and kill as many people as people. Nothing makes Buhari an inch better afterall he is among the dumbest and the dullest president immediately after independence.

1. Waki Jega can not handover appointable positions, that constitutional power and authority belongs to only one man in Nigeria and that's the president and commander in chief.

2. Mr Wali shouldn't have been hired or allowed anywhere near INEC to start with simply because of his conflict of interest regarding his blood brother who is still very active on Nigeria's political environment. Very unacceptable.
