Is amazing the level of arrogance and ignorance being displayed because of prisoners location. Even our so called elites lack vision on this issue and many other issues to be fair. We cannot continue to isolate ourselves on every issue while everyone else gets help. If they had suggested this proposal to any south west region, they would protest but their elites would take full advantage of the situation. Former Governor fashola comes to mind.

I don't know why we lack foresight on many levels. Eventhough, we know how cruel our federal government can be towards us in terms of sabotaging anything they think would make us happy but this is different. With this situation being the top priority in the country right now, it needs to be understood properly to prevent or contain future situations.
Less talking, make I state wetin I think the advantages go be:
1) jobs, jobs, jobs, careers, ..... I can't even over emphasize that. This jobs are for some of the best and brightest not just from anambra or other southeasterners but also from all other parts of the nation. From prison guards, to Intelligence personnels, to judges and lawyers, to psychologists, to architects and builders for those in and around the area of interest, and all those that would benefit in restaurants, cleaners, dry cleaners, etc. I mean how can you go wrong.
This jobs might not pay you Maga money, but it can begin it's own civilization and help train future generations.

2) it is a way of contributing to the nation as a whole too. The governor of this hosted place is suppose to put the government's feet to the fire and hold them accountable for promise not to abandon their responsibilities. Afterall, we are all in this mess together. This is maximum type tinz.

To place more emphasis on point 1, and to counter those that say there will be a backlash, i say bring it on. A good governor or government will take this opportunity to make a sizable portion of their residents experts in communications and electronics intelligence, make it a world class place where idiots like bh no go get mouth and even house the world's worst people if need be and the pay is right. With world class forensic labs because it will be required to run such operation, i mean, many possibilities. Intelligence training for security agencies world wide. It can spur innovation of many spheres. Is crazy how we can't pass this small test.
Anambra is a great state in Nigeria and a pride of the igbos in and outside Nigeria, no stupid group in or out of Nigeria will disrupt anambra like the north or any other place, and not be checked at the point of aggression by other igbo states.

Make we reason am, we should strive to be part if not all of the solution.

Imagine collecting intelligence from disruptive idiots, data centers being built, counter terrorism training from experts in the east, forensic labs that can challenge any other in the world, financial forensics and physical. This could have been the start of the engineering eastern hub of Nigeria. This is something we needed to do anyway, but if we did, them for dun Sabo the tin. Bobos and babes in sambisa and it's environs check mating those idiots, then intelligence in samba or regional wide and outside too. The east need hold one for pocket. With good high standard intelligence -electronically(phone, bank, and various forms of intercepts) and physical (eyes, hair, spit, blood, relatives, mannerisms, their captured equipment characteristics, and many more). All those intelligence data can be stored in the east because it can be seen to have those forms of infrastructure. Then we can also be innovative and create environment that fosters detection physics which could be applied for security measures. We need to contribute to the fight against terror or unrest.
