ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari has told the All Progressives Congress
lawmakers in the National Assembly to accept the party’s supremacy in the interest of democracy.

In his opening remarks at the ongoing meeting of the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja, Buhari charged members to put whatever interest they have in their “pockets” and accept the supremacy of the party in the overall interest of democracy.

He said: “What ever your personal interests, put them in your pocket. Let APC work. Let the system work. I appeal to you to accept the superiority of the party. I cannot confine myself in Sambisa forest and refuse to participate in the meeting because I respect the superiority of the party.”

Whatever happened to his earlier stance to work with whoever that emerge the leaders of NASS. Now he seems not to accept the leaders that NASS members chose for themselves. Anyway, in democracy he has no power to dethrone them. That's the beauty of democracy.

Who wants to bet with me that both Saraki and Dogora will eventually decamp back to PDP? It's majorly the PDP decampees that are creating problems in the party.

They accepted them. When the decamped to their party. They made their party to win the 2015 election.
They are now ordering them around like a small boys when they show them the stuff they are made of.
