Anything's possible , IT could be the Makavelli effect , or at the point of his death people / someone who came to his rescue disguised as Samaritans to help him asked if he can afford hospital bill and he told them his pin .. It could even be the family member , someone who knew about the funds from his brother , the police or FRSC , we've seen them take mobile phones and credentials without returning it to the deceased families ( Yes, that's how callous they can get )

I hope they track the transaction and find the truth behind the withdrawal , ATM logs pictures of every withdrawal , i am sure it'll be done within the same city or state .
But the same person ordered for the ATM after his death.
I believed he faked his death and bribed the police to keep quiet.

You know we don't do properly autopsy in Nigeria, so the Police can just present anybody as the design doctor.

don't be too quick to discredit everything you hear. this happens all the time. my mother saw her father after his death. her father had died in the village but she hadn't heard the news cuz then there were no phones. he visited her rather strangely and she became suspicious., only to travel to the village to find out he had been dead for almost two weeks.

another incident was an ogboni who gave a testimony in church after his deliverance. he had gotten diabolical money and been delivered.and after his deliverance, he went to withdraw the money from his bank, only to be told his account was at a zero balance. they showed him the transactions that proved he had withdrawn all the money the previous day.

whirlwind7:
C'mon!
Anyone who assumes that his ghost did this, must be a slowpoke.

Of course, someone who is aware of the young man's death, and who knows his accounts details committed this fraud.
Since the withdrawals was via ATM, the crook should have been caught on it's camera, right?

Who applied for and processed the requirements for the debit card to be issued? The bank ought to have all the records nawww.

The bogeyman would be a friend, relation or the bank employee. If Naija police is half dilligent, they will unravel this "mystery" within a few days.
