The reason why boko haram are flexing muscle now is just to douse the suspicion on buhari over the alleged sympathetic connection that exists between them. Had buhari rushed into eradicating the sect immediately he entered office the whole thing would've looked so obvious but with the way it is going the suspicion will come down. Also with the recent negotiation channel that is being opened it will create a means for paying some northern youths in the name of amnesty and increase in the allocation of northern states for rebuilding of their states. |
