I feel your pain. In a country that before you get a good job as a fresh graduate demands jumping the hurdles of Gmats and the likes.

A few factors might be responsible for the failures

Do you have a decent calculation background ?

Do you have numerous copies of Gmats, Dragnet past questions?

While doing mock sessions on these past questions, do you time yourself to know your efficiency vis-a-vis your scores?

By the grace of God...I have never erred in any aptitude test and I satisfied all these factors

I started practising dose books b4 I finished serving and I neva failed one test out of so many tests I did. I got a job in less Dan 1 yr afta NYSC

While you're looking for a job start a business

There are destiny stoppers. Guy u need to pray against the plans of the enemies concerning your life. Human beings are very wicked, they could have resolved that let see what becomes of you after your graduation from school. So don't treat issues of life with levity, you need a higher and unfailing power of God to nullify the plans of the wicked ones against your life.

Sorry sis, I feel your pain. Please don't give up because winner never quit. Make sure you prepare well & master time management, also pray as much as u prepare if not more. Good luck

The problem with our 'good grades' is that they tend to give a sense of entitlement and this is wrong. .

That you had a 2.1 or 1 doesnt mean you will remember that sum of angles in a triangle =180, or the formula for volume of cylinder . These are easy examples that ofcourse couldn't have been taught at degree level.. therefore such aptitude test duly test 'aptitude ' . For the brainy ppl, minimal study will get them to pass, but for some of us, we many have to go back and study and practice. Note that such study is better done under no pressure, not wen the test is in two days , then you come on NL and drop emails... it will be difficult to cover.

My advice therefore is, take time out and study these test formats, time urself and pray against confusion in the hall... May God grant you success !

Have u fixed ur dob on waec issue? Some coys take such very serious especially if they use age limits. For banks it could be 25, 27 or 28 depending on the bank.

You see what exams malpractice is causing? When a person uses chocks and expo, what do you expect? Failing Interview , I may offer some Advice,Failing test ?........Cant say anything

Don't give up yet my dear "quitters never win and winners never quit". Push a little more further, you have to pick yourself up your time will surely come. You have to add a little more prayer to your equation too. God will surely favour you.

Well sis.. Don't be pressed down. My life has been so miserable having submitted lots of application and only wrote 4 jobs test each with its sorrow. A month ago ...I was here begging for 5k loan but unfortunately no one came to my aid.
After all ds years of labour and pains ...I didn't know God has a better plan for me. I'm so grateful to God. If u are indeed a strong believer and u can still gather your faith and believe God can do a new thing in your life...... Pls kindly PM! U will proclaim Gods goodness!

there is nothing wrong with you but there are few things i would like you to understand
1. because you got good grades/best student in school doesnt mean automatic employment this is the real world where everything you learnt in school is almost like bulllshit
2. Dont trust your intelligence, ask questions, research before going for An interview, For example of you studied marketing, on a good day you will think they will ask you what is marketing and bla bla bla , but the organisation cares about ways you will bring them 100 million in one year
3. Before going for an interview make sure you have a brief info about their ways of recruitment and the likely questions you might face, trust me google is your best friend
4. Lastly the next time you get that kind of email, if its a reputable company, kindly reply them telling them you will beat some of their best hands in 3 months, there is no harm in adventuring and with this , you will make them know your worth, trust me if you are as good as you claimed, its only a stupid employer that wouldnt employ you, gone are the days where people cry over reject now people take whats theirs by force

I might sound a little bit harsh, but my dear i quickly went through your profile and took a minute to read some of your post you are smart, intelligent so dont let any reject letter pull you down. You are a rising star, they need you so any time there are obstacle in form of reject letters, reply it and tell them what you can do for them, and please dont beg for it, if you are writing the letter dont use please or i beg you., Sound polite and formal. It doesnt hurt trust me

Dear op, first look for a job that is below your qualifications and remuneration standard ,like receptionist, secretary or even waitress.To keep body and soul together pending the lucrative job that suitable for you.

keep trying..u will get a good Job soon..remember,when the journey looks tough,don't give up..just change ur method by preparing more adequately for whatever aptitude test u called for..

My brother, I will suggest you dont give up at this stage, instead, work harder, no one said it was going to be easy. Its only by Gods grace. Keep applying to suitable openings, soon enough God will open a place you never believed for you.

Let me share a frienss story with you quicky, the week she wanted to resume to Bournvita Sales promo team (JD: Dance in moving Bournvita Truck). God open the doors of new heaven for her, PricewaterHouseCooper called her for interview, after she the several test.

Now shes happily employed with the blue chip company. She never gave up. I did more than fifteen aptitude test as 2:1 student, but nothing, till God opened my way too.

One other important thing is to embrace littlw beginning also, I accepted a small company offer last year March, but to God be the glory, I am happy now.

Please make yourself happy, and do more to smart up in your Job search.

It happens dear. You just have to move on. Accept those jobs arent meant for you. I remembered the first Dragnet test i wrote while still a corps member, got a regret mail. My first interview a week after i finished NYSC was even more horrendous. But i tell you what, that was my launch pad. Went back to the drawing board and i ended up stronger. The job that is meant for you will surely come. cheers!
