Considering the fact that I will be loosing 5 points by november, I want to ask if it's possible to still go for 190 or the 489 with 50 points, or must it be up to 55?

Hello guys, this is my first time and am happy to be here. I did my medicals in Lagos on the 23rd of June and submitted my visa application on the 25th of June. I submitted my COE and offer letter along with my other compulsory documents and besides the school in Australia Brisbane is under the streamlined visa processing SVP which applicant will be assessed on level 1, which means that visa requirements and risk consideration is at the lowest with the possibility of obtaining the visa in less than two weeks. I want to know if any one in this thread understand or has heard a success story concerning my write up? I will appreciate your kind response.

You could as well boost your points via English test either IELTS or PTE-Academics although either 190 or 489 visa is another alternative.

You get baggage allowance for everyone you paid for irrespective of age. And it is full baggage as determined by the airline. If you have an infant, you have extra for stroller.

Yes, the child gets 30kg. Stroller is the mobile carriage for babies... Don't know if it is also called buggy. The hand luggage part is funny. how will the child carry it? grin cheesy I guess, the child is entitled to it too..

Yeap. Emirates gave the kids 10kg checked-in luggage, 5kg hand luggage. But you can pool the luggage allowance together as a family.

The stroller does not, and should not count.

curiosity they say gets a cat a nice rat grin . . .

how do you manage the fact that you have "basic" information about visa "processes" to particular countries (threads you visit frequently) but have failed in getting a visa yourself?

Is it a case of " with thy eyes you will see the promised land but your feet will not step in"?
