President Buhari met permanent secretaries from the ministries of water resources and agriculture and rural development this morning. They were said to brief the president on the state of play at their ministries. Addressing journalists after the meeting Sonny Echono, the permanent secretary from the agriculture ministry said: “Not much has changed in terms of policy” from the previous administration. If it is business as usual, what happened to the “change” promised at the last (s)election? I don’t remember the president saying while campaigning that they will continue the policies of the Goodluck Jonathan administration. 1 Like |
