The most important thing u should know is when u are buying a battery, buy original and brand new, fake batteries plenty for market, I only know of one person in computer village that sells original valve regulated and deep cycle batteries but his batteries are expensive, I bought a 12v 18ah battery from him for 5k, whereas I bought 12v 40ah for 6k at oshodi (note: some oshodi people dey sell fake too o).
As I was saying the battery is the most important because it determines the length strength followed by the charger, don't buy local made chargers for this purpose or charger that are not smart and automatic.

Greet u too semid4lyfe
How many watts is the led TV (check the back of the TV)
U don't overload it or the battery won't last long.
U can plug the home theater dvd player to it but don't add the home theater woofer ,the woofer will drain ur battery fast.
Its only a 40ah battery, Do not overload it or unless u want to add more 12v 40ah battery to it , I sHave been using it for 4 months now, the only newest thing I bought is the smart Charger which I bought last week,

I love the set up. The only problem is that I don't like watching live football on small screens. Any hope for a 32" LED monitor?

Yes, it will work on led TV's the only difference is how long the battery would carry the TV,(all led TVs have very low watts than lcd TVs ) it depends on the watts of ur led, check the back of the TV for the watts, u no get problem , u go watch the soccer match finish even before the battery drains out

The wattage is not shown on the back of my 32" led tv, lg-32LB550A
just voltage of 110~ 240Vac 50- 60Hz
How do I determine the wattage?

There are some many good batteries and at same time so many fakes,
I have used:
Portalac
FULLRIVER
Garcia
Etc
Call this guy in computer village 08035399481, he is the only person that sells original deep cycle and valve regulated batteries, the only thing is that his batteries are expensive,he has all makes and sizes (7ah,18ah,25ah,40ah,65ah,80ah ,100ah).
I bought a 12v 40ah fullriver valve regulated battery from this guy in oshodi main market for 6k (08033086907) I dont know if he still has the battery in stock but u call him to confirm

If ur led is 110watts, a 12v 40ah battery can only power it for roughly 4.3hrs at full charge or u might need a bigger battery

1. Its like a mini inverter or power bank,

2. Its best u use a ups that uses only one battery , that's why I chose 650va ups , with a 650ups u can add more batteries and connect dem in parallel. If u buy a ups that uses 2 batteries inside, u will definitely buy 2 batteries and connect them in series, u can't use one battery for those ups ,it wont work.

3. The difference between deep cycle and VRLA batteries can be found here http://www.giminija.lt/en/blog/deep-cycle-flooded-or-deep-cycle-valve-regulated-lead-acid-batteries

4. I don't know prices of other bigger batteries but u can call the guy that sell original batteries in computer village ,he has bigger deep cycle batteries 08035399481

5. Very good!!! I don't over load it, I only use it to power my 15inch lcd, phone charger, blu ray player only,
Note: please if u are buying a ups, ask the seller if he has the bluegate type that will notify u when ur battery is down, mine will beep 17 times and then stop, the next time it beeps again is when the battery is down, that's when u know u have to switch off, no allow ur battery always dey die on ur ups, it will reduce the life span of that battery, so u need a ups that should notify u when the battery is down

Its very easy, there are different ways that u can entertain urself when u are at home,
All u need is gotv and an lcd with a very low wattage or a PC monitor that has AV input ,a 650va ups, a 12v 40ah fullriver valve regulated battery and a smart charger,
I bought my 40ah battery brand new at oshodi for 6k its equivalent to deep cycle batteries and I bought my 20amp smart battery charger at idioro mushin for 7k, with this u can stay connected to ur favorite programs on TV or watch movies on ur lcd via external hdd, if u already have an lcd TV, just check the watts ,if its above 100, then u need to get a 15inch monitor that has AV input II bought mine 5k at computer village, the smart charger charges the battery, the ups stands as the power, my 15inch monitor is 34watts while the blu ray player is just 16watts ,
So......
When there is no electricity ,my 40ah battery can power my 15inch lcd and gotv or blu ray player for full 9hrs ,
Note: It only powers my gotv, bluray and 15inch lcd, imagine if I have 2 of that battery nko? That means I will never miss my favorite programs,
See pic below
when I see nigerians thinking outside the box it makes me joyful.brother you have been blessed with a gift to live a bigger life and create a system that will write yourfamily name in gold..Please Try as much as possible to comercialize your product and improve on it...am so happy for you bro

When ever u are ready to buy all at once, pls call the battery sellers first to confirm if the battery u need is available, if u call the guy that sell battery at oshodi, and he dosen't have the battery in stock, call the guy at computer village and discuss ur price on phone before going to mushin to purchase the smart charger, these batteries are very heavy and if u buy the batteries & ups first, u will find it difficult and stressful to carry to mushin for the charger, 12v 40ah batteries are heavy,u can go for lesser AH (amp hour) batteries 18ah,25ah but they will only power ur appliance at a lesser time,
Remember: more AH means more time, depending on what u are loading, if u decide to add more batteries to give u more AH(amp hour) below photo is how u connect in parallel.
Goodluck

this is why u must buy a 3 or 4 phase charging mode smart charger

Battery Charger ( MA-1220A )Inquire Online Automatic Battery Charger MA-1220A

Features:
1. High performance and good stableness

2. Suitable for inverter battery for charging

3. Direct cigarette lighter connection

4. Convenient and easy to carry

5. Universal socket, suitable for all kinds of plugs
Three-phase charging mode

1st phase charging mode
(Constant current mode): When the voltage of the battery is lower than the value set by the charger, the charger will work under the constant current mode and supply the constant current for the battery.

2nd phase charging mode
(Constant voltage mode) :Using the pulse width modulation(PWM) tech to control the charging current and output voltage of the charger which ensures the battery is fully charged and avoids over charging.

3rd phase charging
(Floating charge mode) :When the voltage of the battery is approaching the value of the constant voltage mode, and the current will cut down to the given current gradually, that means the battery power is full, then the pilot lamp will turn green and the fan will stop working. The charger will turn the mode into floating charge mode automatically. At this moment, the battery can be stopped charging or keep on floating charge for half an hour.

What is d disadvantage of UPS having 2, 12voltes batteries inside it. Because the 1 I got now has 2 batteries inside. And pls how many hour will it take the batteries charger to charge 12voltes 60 amps batteries. Thank for all the good information u have provided so far.

The disadvantage is buying 2 batteries for it all the time,if u are going to buy a 60ah battery, then u will get 2 60ah batteries and u must connect them In series and not in parallel, I am really not too sure how long it will take the smart charger to charge the two batteries, but it won't take long since the the charger has adjustable settings for 40 and below AH, 60ah, 120ah and above, don't expect that ups to charge two 60ah batteries o!

I can't seem to find a bluegate ups. everywhere I go people want to know what I really want to do with it.after explain they ten remember that they don't have it. need help pls.
ceejay the battery dealer at oshodi phone number is incorrect. its missing a number.
the only downside to this connection as good as it is is that phcn doesn't supply enough power to my area so I'll still depend on gen cry help needed

Sir, for some time now, I have been thinking on the possibility of creating this type of improvise, though in a larger scale.

Here is the scenerio: In a typical cybercafe or biz centre, each PC has its own UPS for power back up untill chang-over is effected. In the long run it becomes costly & stressful to manage the different UPS allocated to each PC unit.

Now sir, how can someone devise this backup system in such a way that a singular but bigger UPS supplies all the PC? Bear in mind that this is not meant to supply power for long hours, but just for the moment change-over is made from either PHCN to Gen or vice versa. This I believe will be more cost effective, less demanding & easier to run, than buying smaller UPS for each PC system.

The parametres to consider are 10 PC units, each unit comprising of:
1. Desktop = 70 - 90 watts (powering USB Plug n Play devices like keyboard, Flash drive, mouse & modem)
2. Monitor = 30 - 40 watts

Go to oshodi main market 650Va ups is there for 1,500 naira used without battery, mercury ups is good too, all u need is a ups that will notify u when ur battery power is low, my blue gate ups is the latest model, when u put it on it beeps 17 times and the then stop beeping, the next time u will hear the beeping sound again is when the battery is week so u turn off ur appliance and the ups, don't allow ur battery die on ur ups all the time, it will reduce the life span of that battery
Call this guy at oshodi main market 08034627274 , he has all kinds of used ups, ups inverter and inverter, I bought from him, he introduced me to the battery seller
