i can`t just understand how some people are defending the indefensible.

The money belongs to three parties - Federal Government, State Government and Local Government.

How then is it right for GEJ to unilaterally order Minister of Finance to withdraw part of the money without the consent of the other parties (State and Local Govt)?

Where then is due process?

Can the President of the World Bank where she came from unilaterally order the release of money without the approval of the Board of Governors? NO.

Why then did she withdraw the money without advising the President on following due process?

The legality of the account is a different thing entirely because the state governments have been dragging the Federal govt to the Supreme Court over the illegality of the account since about three years or thereabout now. This simply shows that it is the Federal Government that is condoning illegality. On top of this, they are proposing to add another one in the name of Sovereign Wealth Fund.

If 2 billion dollars were used to pay for fuel subsidy there will be duly acknowledged documents to show that money was actually paid to the marketers, she is only been economical with the truth. The money have been shared but if not let the documents used to pay those they paid be tendered if they didn't file them.

'Reasoning' further, since we'r still talking about the same base material/commodity here (oil), don't you think the amount of subsidy money that would be needed, would proportionally be reduced too? I mean 'reasoning' that the 'fall in oil prices' is not peculiar to Nigerian crude alone.
