I have a friend who hasnt gone to church for 8 years now,he believes that there is no God.i have constructed all energies i can to subtle this dude to believing that there is God but he seems to argue back with great evidences..last week his parent called him and ask if he is going to church tuday,my guy reply was so irrevocable to his parent about going to church that what is the meaning of church,that the bible so called the book of God is a play that has many characters,that jesus christ is one of the character,that the book was written by scholars of the 11th century who considered it as a play..jesus christ i was so dazzled and confused when this dude introduced me to BIG BANG THEORY that the theory is all about how earth came into existence that we were not created by any so called God that there is no GOD..my guy rebuked the parent and also reprimanded me that any further enticement on this particula area of christianity cajolery by me,he will personally dash me..this guy im toking about stays alone outside campus while the parent are in another state..he is not in any confraternity group or accultic gym..please help out

The way I handle them, I don't argue doctrines or bible stories. Once I make you to agree with me on the basic tenets of the teachings of Christ which is Love. We have no further issues.

To let men know their is God is the essence of Christianity so my dear you are doing the right thing.

Just say some simple prayer for him , you may even fast. prayer may sound simple like this Oh LORD I AM HAPPY YOU GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO INTRODUCE YOU TO XXXX. I HAVE TRIED ALL I COULD TO CONVINCE HIM BUT HE WILL NOT. I HAND HIM OVER TO YOU. BRING HIM TO YOUR SELF. End your prayers with IN JESUS NAME.


Always remember him in prayer and you will reap the harvest latter

For once you are right .

It amazes me that known liars, adulterers and all sorts of dispicable characters try to preach god and religion to me, then, they just cannot accept and live with the fact that a person of better moral character does not even believe in god, talkless of Jesus and church.

Wouldn't the world be a better place if all focused their energies in their own examplary moral redemption?

This is what makes christianity a laughing stock religion : The ridiculous notion that YOU are redeemed on account of what You Believe, rather than the lofty qualities of your moral and ethical virtues.

That wasn't me you were talking to (I left church more far longer than 8 years ago), but I'm sure that some people have said the exact same thing about me on multiple occasions. I'd like to shake your friend's hand.
