Barely 12 hours after a Rivers High court dissolved the LGA council chairmen for disobedience of a court injunction preventing the election from being held. Gov. Woke has name Care taker Committee Chairmen.

The interesting part is that they were named today, the house of assembly has screened them today, and they would be sworn in tomorrow.

Hmmm., talking about knowing the answer before the question.
Does this not show the judge was bought over? Coz I no you can possibly gather names , send them to house and screen them same day if U did not know if the judges verdict before hand...

Wike is a lawyer and he knows that any competent Judge would rule against the council chairmen, so he simply compiled his list, sent it for screening and waited for the inevitable to happen.

That is preparation and hitting the ground running.

that is not the business of justice akande's court. the issue of what register was used did not even come up. He said the court stopped the election, when there was never such court judgement stopping the election.

Only Inec has d power to keep n update voters register for d conduct of elections in Nigeria both Federal n state. If Inec was barred from releasing voters list to Rivsiec it simply meant d court knew DAT without d voters list no election but Amaechi believing APC will be d govt at d centre went ahead to conduct d election 5days to May 29th handover when he cud v done it within his 4yrs tenure. Everybody including d chairmen themselves knew they all not last but Amaechi on his own can boast he has settled them.

there you go, assuming for the judge. The judge clearly said the chairmen were nullified for going against a court order not to conduct the election. The words status quo is what they are being mischievous about here. What part of this English do you not understand? Well, I hope you will remember to speak all this grammar and 'believe' so much in the court if a court ruling goes against your wish tomorrow, that's my own.
