The emergence of Bukola Saraki, the renegade from PDP, as SP made my expectations from this administration plummet. Corruption is the bane of development in our nation; it was due to this fact that Nigerians voted enmasse for President Buhari. But with Mr. Saraki at the helm of affairs in the legislative arm of Government, many policies and attempts aimed at curtailing corrupt practices by government officials might be thwarted.

If the allegations contained in this news report are anything to go by, then Bukola Saraki should be prosecuted and made to face the comeuppances for his thievery acts. But then, the report indicates that the judiciary arm of the Government is compromised; this could be another stumbling block which may undermine the fight against corruption by the Presidency.

I fervently hope that this matter doesn't get swept under the carpet like several other ones.

When he de camped, they didn't know this. when he contested under apc and won, he wasn't a thief. Now when he boycotted apc to cling to the senate president they now know he is corrupt right? What is the difference between this government and the way Obasanjo ruled Nigeria for 8 years?
