Am situating my observation based on Indian culture. Both Sugni and Vikram wouldn't happen in reality but onscreen the older men tend to go for younger girls. I think they should be realistic. Why would they keep writing scripts for all the Sharauk Khans of this world to romance young girls old enough to be their daughters.

Maybe they're trying to change people's perception of that 'indian culture'. Like i said Jay/Bani, Vi/Sugni combo is just fine(my opinion) anything older than that would have been irritating. Ban Ki moon /Sugni combo would have been *that's what I think is "old". Just look at George Clooney and his wife?? but that's Hollywood anyway

Contacting us?they picked the characters they wanted .jai was picked cos he looked 45 even at that time. they even added the grey hair costume to his hair.they needed someone that will look old enough to be jigyasa's brother.as for vikram they needed someone old enough to have been in a marriage for 9 yrs

Before you can say Nigerians lack the technical know how .They must have the equipments ,the money and all they need before you can make this emphatic statement.give them all these and if they don't produce blockbusters then I will understand they lack the technical know how.indians, have all these yet they make many annoying movies in terms of technicalities at times tho they have some great blockbusters.

We don't have to argue about every single thing. Am not the first or only person to make this observation on this thread. People on the Indian forum also concluded that Vik was/is too old for Sugni. Is ok if you have a contrary opinion,just let it be. And let others make their own observations.
*When it comes to Vikram/Sug,it's ok to be sentimental and sympathetic. But you can be sentimental and objective at the same time.

If u follow indian movies well nd read deir magazines well actresses wud kill 2 b paired wit Sharuk Khan, Amir Khan nd d likes of dem cos no mata how st.upid dat movie is pple wud still pay 2 watch it nd d more pple watch d movie d more popularity a young upcoming actress wud get....varun bodala is a popular actor wen it comes 2 series nd Gulki joshi is a vry new young actress d producers needed ratings ...nd if u follow Hollywood castings 2 dey try 2 pair actors wit strong chemistry so d viewers cn relate 2 dem

The Indians involved have said they do not like that pairing again neither does it work in Nigeria. When it comes to Sharu khan,he has his peer group like Madhuri, Juhi, Kajol Devgan,Tabu,Sonali etc. Those actresses will always want to be paired up with him. In Chennai Express, they paired him with Deepika and indians said he looks like her Uncle.
It's possible to pair young and old but the physical age difference should not be off. I've watched enough bollywood movies and i know how they cast their characters.
Besides, Breaking Free didn't get much ratings. There are better series they are about to show us. So what's the hassel about?

No. For a while,i discovered people no longer quote others because they want to contribute or tastefully criticize opinions. But to leverage one form of sentiment or the other.
As for the age thing, Deepika was already popular long before Chennai Express. And i can tell you that the movie made more impact in Southern India. Deepika is from South india. There are so many things involved in casting which are not right.
Am not saying you are wrong about the popular actors. But there is a way to make it tasteful. For instance,someone like Salman Khan looks ridiculously younger than his age,he can be paired with Aarti. Nothing spoil...on the other hand, Salman will look like Bhavany's Uncle.
